Yesteryear actors Saira Banu and Dilip Kumar show you what timeless love is all about!Yesteryear actors Saira Banu and Dilip Kumar show you what timeless love is all about!

Saira Banu had a complaint for her husband Dilip Kumar and this is what the legendary actor did to resolve it.

Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu are perhaps the most adorable couple of Bollywood and one whose love story would be an example for all couples in times to come.

While there is a 22-year age gap between Saira Banu and Dilip Kumar, the couple have had a blissful marriage ever since they tied the knot in 1966. What people adore is the way they both take care of each other, especially how Saira Banu is always by the side of the legendary actor in sickness and ill health.

Just last April, Saira had shown the world that she is a doting wife by the way she had taken care of the thespian when he was under the weather. When his fans got worried for his health and well-being, she shared a picture of the two to pacify them. Here is the absolutely adorable picture that she had shared last April:

However, yesterday it was the superstar's turn to display some love and affection for his wife Saira and also resolve any complaints that she had from him in the past.

This is why he shared an really sweet picture of the two of them together and said that he just shared some tea and biscuits with her as Saira always complains that he doesn't share biscuits with her. Have a look at picture that he posted on his Twitter timeline:

Now, that's a really sweet gesture from the actor and we're sure that Saira would have been completely floored by his love and affection. Clearly, Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu show how to keep a marriage going strong and steady even after 50 years of togetherness. Here a few lessons that married couples can take from them:

1. Never forget to show your love to your partner: Small gestures matter and can go a long way in establishing a concrete bond between you and your partner. Expressing your love through small notes and messages or just by sharing a cup of tea and biscuits would make sure that each day of your marriage is as happy as the previous one.

2. Cheer each other in sickness and in good health: We must understand that we all would not be as healthy as we are today, but that does not mean that life has to be dull and gloomy. Show your partner that you are with him in sickness and health and cheer him up when he is indisposed.

3. Take it easy and never forget to laugh: Many times we miss on the small joys of life just because we are not able to move ahead a small unpleasant event. Always remember that life becomes happier when we enjoy little little things and live each day as it comes.
