Wow! After Navya Nanda THIS famous star kid is all set to debut in Paris' le BalWow! After Navya Nanda THIS famous star kid is all set to debut in Paris' le Bal

This star kid is already making heads turn with her gorgeous looks and now she is all set to represent India on an international platform!

While many star kids are making a beeline to become B-town celebrities, there are some who are queuing up for another kind of stardom. Case in point, actor Chunky Pandey's gorgeous daughter Ananya Panday.

The star kid who has completed her graduation from New York University is all set to make a grand debut at Paris' high society ball named Le Bal. This prestigious ball opens its doors to 20 girls and 20 boys of different nationalities.

And if you recall, last year Navya Naveli Nanda was to make her debut, however, due to political reasons her family backed out.

Ananya all set to represent India

But this year, Ananya will represent India along with Princess Gauravi Kumari of Jaipur.

In fact, all the preparations for her debut are reportedly done and she is ready to wow the world on November 4 at The Peninsula Hotel in Paris.

The star kid will be dressed by Jean Paul Gaultier, while Princess Gauravi will wear a sari-inspired couture bespoke gown designed by Tarun Tahiliani. The two will also adorn jewellery by Payal New York, by Indian-origin Payal Mehta.

Interestingly, the ball that attracts and invites only the creme de la creme of the world also had Isha Ambani as one of its participants a few years back.

It is considered a highly prestigious event and is also known to raise funds for Enfants d'Asie: Children of Asia and The Seleni Institute. With this international platform Ananya will get the recognition she is looking for to pursue her career in the movies.

Yes, that's correct.

Ananya's predictable career choice!

She will be another star kid heading towards tinseltown soon enough. Her father, actor Chunkey Pandey confirmed the same with a daily.

He said, "Yes, Ananya wants to be an actress and she had informed me about her decision sometime ago. Be it Ahaan or Ananya, I want the kids to create their own identity and be a brand in their own right.”

And guess who may be launching her? The 'flagbearer of nepotism' himself, Karan Johar. If reports are to be believed, he is considering her for one of his projects and dad Chunky has some advice for her.

Chunky's advice for his darling daughter

“I would like to tell her that it’s important that you don’t imitate anyone else’s success story. You have to make your own story, and I would love to be known as Ananya Pandey’s father,” he told a daily.

The 54-year-old actor also added, “Ananya finished her studies, and a couple of months back, she did tell me that she wants to get into films. Nowadays, you cannot tell your kids what to do. In fact, you have to listen to them. As a parent, give them great education and values and they will decide what to do in life."

Well, that is true because supporting kids' dreams can help them become more confident and successful. But this can only happen with openness and honesty.

3 benefits of honest and open parenting

  • Kids will work towards their dream: They will be aware that they have to work towards making it on their own. They will always have their parents as moral supporters, but they cannot take their help.
  • No jugaad will work: They will be aware that while their parents will guide them, they will not spoon-feed them. India is quite famous for being a jugaad country, but if a child knows that they cannot have their parents use their jack to get them to places, they will be left with no choice but towards making it on their own.
  • Kids will become independent: They will become independent enough to make their own life decisions, having learnt from their own mistakes in the past. Since life is a great teacher, they have a lot to look forward to if their life choices are different from their parents'.
