The REAL reason why Abhishek Bachchan chose Aishwarya Rai as life partner over Karisma Kapoor!
Read on to know why Abhishek Bachchan chose Aishwarya Rai as his wife. And it is the very same reason why Abhishek and Aishwarya are not moving into their new plush 21 crores flat in suburban Mumbai.
Much is being talked about Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan's new abode in Worli that costs a whopping 21 crores. However, you'd be surprised to know that the couple is not moving into their house because of one reason. And, what if we told you that is the very same reason why Abhishek Bachchan chose Aishwarya Rai as his life partner over Karisma Kapoor!
Yes, that's right! Bollywood's most-talked-about couple's new home is at the high-end residential complex, Signia Isles, which is located in the plush Bandra-Kurla Complex.
Why Abhishek Bachchan chose Aishwarya Rai as life partner
Abhishek and Aishwarya moved into Amitabh Bachchan's home Jalsa after their marriage in 2007. They also have another home at another plush Mumbai property on the 37th floor of Skylark Towers, in Bandra.
And, reports say that the couple has no intentions of moving out, come what may. This is because of Abhishek's wish to stay with his family, which is something that even Aishwarya wants. And this was the reason why Karisma Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan drifted apart.
“Abhishek is way too close to his parents to even think about moving out. When he was engaged to Karisma Kapoor in 2002, the relationship came apart mainly because she wanted him to move out of his parents’ home. Karisma wanted to live separately after marriage, "says a report in the Deccan Chronicle.
And that was the one quality that attracted Abhishek to Aishwarya.
"One of the things that drew Abhishek to Aishwarya was her affinity to her parents. She understands what it means to be close emotionally and physically to your parents. That's why she never demanded a home away from Jalsa (the Bachchans’ home for the last 20 years)," adds the report.
And we are so happy that it worked out well for both Abhishek and Aishwarya as the couple have been happily married for more than a decade now.
Staying with your family...
Staying together as a family unit is something that forms the main pillar of Indian families. Joint families can be a blessing for your kids too as they pass on so many values and traditions to your little ones.
Don't you all remember being surrounded by your Dada- Dadi, Chachas- Chachis, buas, and mausees in your childhood?
Here's why all of us should stay in a joint family at least once in a lifetime for the sake or your kids:
1.Sharing means caring: No one can teach you better about sharing and caring than joint families, where everyone has to share and care. Kids understand and value the power of used resources and that has a positive influence on their upbringing.
2.Traditions and Values: Nuclear families today are bereft of the ancient Indian values and traditions that are known the world over. Staying in a joint family would be enriching for your child and would also make sure that your traditions are passed on from one generation to the other.
3. No time for tantrums: With so many people around your child would seldom have a lack of attention which is the prime reason why kids throw tantrums. Besides, there will be too many people to cheer him up. What a lovely childhood that would be!
