Babies can be really cute and really, really expressive. And one thing that can really be entertaining is the numerous things that they say in their own language, commonly known as babbling.
While many of us think that the language a baby speaks can be tough to decipher, the truth is it can be easy if your try to pay attention to the hand and eye movements of the toddler.
Decoding the "baby talk"
Scientists say that mums should never dismiss their baby's "ba-ba-ba" or "da-da-da" words or something similar as it could mean that the baby is trying to staying something.
A study observed baby babbling and the hand movements of a group of babies and found that the kids were making an early attempt at language.
"Now we know that it's much more related to language. In fact, when the baby's babbling, they're hard at work," says Dr. Laura-Ann Petitto, a Dartmouth College professor who led the baby babble study, told Good Morning America.
This is what is evident in this video when toddlers are interviewed by YouTube to tell what their mum means to them and the results are amazing. watch it yourself to enjoy the conversation!
