Watch: Aaradhya Bachchan is the star of the evening at her annual day function

Watch: Aaradhya Bachchan is the star of the evening at her annual day functionWatch: Aaradhya Bachchan is the star of the evening at her annual day function

Cheered on by her parents as well as naani Vrinda Rai and daadi Jaya Bachchan, the six-year-old Aaradhya played her part extremely well.

We have only ever seen a shy and reserved Aaradhya Bachchan in public. Whenever she is ever seen out and about, it is always with her mum Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who often keeps her at close proximity. And if she attends any event, she comes across as extremely modest and inhibited.

But lo and behold! Because Aaradhya is nothing like that; she is neither sheepish nor shy. She is a firebrand on stage and a very confident young girl. Yes, you read that right.

Proof that Aaradhya is a confident young girl!

The six-year-old star kid proved all her critics wrong when she recently performed at the Dhirubhai Ambani International School’s annual day event.

Cheered on by her parents as well as naani Vrinda Rai and daadi Jaya Bachchan, Aaradhya played her part well and just like all other kids, impressed everybody.

And no guesses for who cheered the loudest- mummy Aishwarya. She was so happy with Aaradhya's performance that she took pictures and made videos if her daughter and even egged her on to dance with her onstage.

It is a know fact that Aishwarya and Aaradhya are attached with each other from the hip. They are never seen too far away and that's got to do with how Aishwarya feels about her daughter.

In a recent interview she shared that she and her daughter have a soul connect and just like any other mother even her world is all about her daughter.

"Aaradhya and I have a soul connect. My day begins and ends with her. From the moment I wake up my entire perspective on the day is centred on her. Her constant presence in my life is not even something I consciously think about it. It’s just there! And I wonder how I lived before she was born. Only a parent would understand how I feel. To me, my world changed the day Aaradhya was born. Everything is the same around me. But she has changed the way I look at the world. The world that I now occupy with my daughter is my reality. Everything else is a secondary," she said in the said interview.

Star kids cheered on by their star parents

No wonder then it was a proud moment for her.

But she was not the only proud parent this weekend. The popular school that also includes other star kids saw a bevy of movie stars cheering for their wards.

These included Hrithik Roshan and ex-wife Sussane Khan, Shah Rukh Khan who came with wife Gauri as well as his two kids Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan, Aamir Khan and Raveena Tandon who came with her hubby.

They not only cheered for their kids, but also danced with many on stage.

In fact, Shah Rukh was seen hugging and encouraging all other kids as they sang and danced on stage. Well, it was clearly an enjoyable time for all parents as well as their confident wards.
