TV actor Karanvir Bohra has a special message for dads-to-be!TV actor Karanvir Bohra has a special message for dads-to-be!

It is the first time ever that Karanvir Bohra has shared a picture of the baby bump with a special message

Television's coolest couple Karanvir Bohra and Teejay Sidhu are about to become first time parents in November, and they are leaving no stone unturned to make the most of this time together.

The cute twosome who are currently on a relaxing babymoon to Vancouver, have been married for 10 years, but recently admitted that this pregnancy was a rather "pleasant shock."

Speaking to the media a few days back Bohra quipped, "The news came as a pleasant shock. Karanvir didn’t believe me at first when I informed him. In fact, it took us some time to digest the news. I’d signed a three-year contract for my TV show, and I wasn’t expecting a little person just yet. But of course, we are thrilled! Work can wait. Now, it’s time to trust God’s timing and his plan.”

And while the couple did their followers a glimpse of their babymoon, it is the first time ever that they have shared a picture of the baby bump. Not just that, Bohra also posted a special message expressing how it felt to be a first-time-father.

He posted: "This is the first picture I'm posting with the baby bump...As the days get closer my heart skips a beat. Becoming a dad is something I never thought of, I always felt that I want kids coz I love then so much."

He added that it's not the parents who birth a child, but also the child who gives birth to the parents inside two people.

"Now it's dawning dawning upon me that a child doesn't only give birth to a mother but even a dad is born. @bombaysunshine (Teejay Sidhu) and me we both still don't feel like parents or "mom" & "dad" in the making," he added.

Posting further he stated that while he called his parents "mom and dad," it was now time for the couple to be addressed the same way by their baby. He also wished luck to all parents-to-be.

"We have always felt that parents only mean our respective mum n dad now there will be a new entity calling us that...completely unfathomable so far. But we are ready and with the grace of God we will humbly receive the gift he gives us. God bless all the new and going2be mum n dad's," he signed off.

Bohra's sweet but rather candid message about becoming a first time father is a refreshing reminder of how young fathers should embrace any kind of fear or apprehension about becoming a parent. In fact, his message is a great lesson on why new dads must share their feelings about their bond with the new baby or with their wives more freely!

Continue reading to see how Karanvir Bohra sent a very important message to 'to-be' dads and a sneak peek of their amazing babymoon!

Through his sweet message, Karanvir has managed to highlight a pertinent issue- that of to-be dads' apprehension about a new baby. It is normal to fee anxiety before the birth of a child, but by simply doing these 3 things, you can help prepare yourself for the future.

  • Be more communicative: Express your inner fears and apprehensions with your wife and family. Tell them what scares you the most about having a baby. This way you can collectively come to a solution, and this will also reduce stress.
  • Male nesting: While it is a known fact that women 'nest' during pregnancy and prepare themselves for the baby, men also do the same! Through nesting, expecting fathers can involve themselves in doing small things for the baby like shopping for him or preparing the nursery or going for doctor's appointment.
  • Spend time with your wife: The best way for a man to prepare himself for a baby is by spending quality time with his wife. This way you not know that even she shares the same anxieties as you, but it also gives both the partners a reassurance that they are in this together. You can also go for a babymoon, if you're upto it!

And by the looks of Kanarvir and Teejay's babymoon pictures, we are sure he is following these golden rules to the tee! have a look at some of the quality time the two are spending together!
