The seven-month-old Taimur Ali Khan doesn't really need an introduction. He was famous before his birth, and his stardom continues to grow with each passing day. Of course, being an adorable baby only adds to that.
This also means that cameras love him and photographers throng to his house to catch a glimpse of the little Nawab. In fact, he always manages to steal the limelight away from his parents.
And it happened again last night when Kareena and Saif finally took Taimur away from India. Yes, you read that right!
Taimur takes off from India
The new parents who had put off their Swiss trip because of Taimur, finally managed to whisk him away with them.
In fact, this trip not only marks Taimur's first ever offshore trip with Kareena and Saif together, but also one where he gets a sport an all new look.
Don't believe us? Take a look for yourself.
Taimur who was sporting a new hairstyle was wrapped in a chic blanket and held by daddy closely. In fact, when the famous Pataudi family was being photographed by the paparazzi who couldn't get enough of Taimur, one could see that he was visibly sleepy (and perhaps up way past his nap time).
"It's a perk of being Saif and my son"
But the couple did not try to hide him from photographers. As Kareena put it a few days back, that the couple have never hidden Taimur from anybody and they do not plan to do it now either.
"Well, we cannot do much about it. I cannot shun him and hide him from reality. It is not like he is doing a photoshoot. But also, he is quite aware. He has to know that he has to grow up in that atmosphere. That is how it is. It's a perk of being Saif and my son," explained Kareena.
Yes, that is certainly one of the many perks of being Saif and Kareena's baby; apart from looking absolutely adorable.
"I kiss him about 20,000 times a day"
In fact, it seems Kareena herself cannot get enough of her cute son. "I don’t like being away from Taimur, I don’t want to miss out on a single moment of his childhood. If I have to go for a shoot, I’ll take him with me sometimes but it’s a tough balance,” she shared.
She also added that she often ends up irritating him after kissing him "20,000 times a day."
She recently admitted, "Taimur is always chilled out. He is so gorgeous. The only thing he doesn’t like about me is that I kiss him about 20,000 times a day. And he keeps pushing me off. Saif says why are you doing this. But I always feel like hugging him."
"Taimur is my priority"
We couldn't agree more. He certainly is gorgeous and we can understand why Kareena cannot love without him.
No wonder she made a life-changing decision about her career and prioritised Taimur for the same reason.
"I have been offered a lot of films. Right now, I am personally very scared to take up new projects. Because Taimur Ali Khan is just six months old and it is a commitment. I first want to see how this goes and then decide on my future projects. Taimur is my priority," she shared right before flying off to Switzerland with baby Taimur and daddy Saif.
Well, it certainly looks like Kareena has her priorities right and this vacation will give her more time with her baby and hubby. In fact, it's a good idea to go for a family vacation once your baby is six or seven months. Since the baby is able to stabilise himself physically and explore things around him better, it is an ideal time to travel.
And in case, you are also planning the same and flying international, here are some handy tips you must know.
3 tips to prepare for an international flight with babies
- Plan everything in advance: Prepare a checklist of all the things you'll need while flying with kids. This means making sure the passports are ready (with scanned copies in your mails), flight and hotel bookings done, credit or debit cards changed to international, cash in the bag and clothes and shoes packed to the minimum basics.
- Pack light for the flight: If you are travelling with your baby, make sure to pack a diaper bag with all the necessary items including extra diapers, food, clothes, wipes and medicines. But also don't forget to take one extra shirt on your flight (just in case the baby decided to rain in your parade!).
- Don't feel guilty: Your kids may create a bit of inconvenience during the flight, and that's okay. Remember that long flights are not a trip, they can be a marathon for parents.
