Telly actor and soon-to-be a firang bahu Aashka Goradia is all set to walk down the aisle, twice. Read on to know why.
Television's favourite bahu and ex-Bigg Boss contestant Aashka Goradia is her happiest right now. She is head-over-heels in love with her Prince Charming and is all set to walk down the aisle with him within a month.
Yes, you read that right.
Goradia who recently got engaged to US-based Brent Goble, is getting married on December 3; and the couple's gorgeous wedding cards have already been printed.
The card that truly reflects the couple's personal choice has Satyam Shivam Sundaram printed on it, which incidentally is also tattooed on the 31-year-old actor.
The happy duo recently shared pictures of their wedding card and also revealed that it won't be just another regular wedding.
"I can’t wait to get married to Brent"
The couple will have two wedding ceremonies- an Christian wedding followed by an traditional Gujarati wedding ceremony.
The festivities will begin from December 1, with the white wedding followed by Sangeet and Mehendi the next day and finally the Indian wedding ceremony on December 3.
While talking about her wedding Goradia recently shared that she wasn't facing any wedding jitters and was in fact, looking forwrad to her big day.
"I don’t have any wedding jitters. To say the least, I can’t wait to get married to Brent. It would be so much fun," she shared with a daily.
She also added that as her big day gets closer, she knows what kind of bride she would turn out to be.
"I will be the bride, who starts getting wedding ideas as the day draws nearer. Right now, I don’t know what I want. There is so much going on at the moment. My house is being renovated in Ahmedabad and I need to go there to make sure things are done smoothly,” she shared.
“Also, when I start planning my wedding, I will have to do it in a way that my American guests (from Brent’s side) get to understand all the traditions. They are keen on knowing everything about it,” added Goradia.
"Brent is a giver and is someone, who makes you feel safe"
As for the famous couple's compatibility, Goradia says that her to-be-husband's humility and compassion attracted her to him.
She shared, “Why do you think I have fallen in love with him. Brent is a giver and is someone, who makes you feel safe and also gives you space. I believe one needs to have daily conversation with his or her partner for better understanding. That is something I have with Brent.”
Well, one thing is for sure that the couple has managed to not just develop a deep understanding between themselves, but also managed to break the ice with their in-laws. And while we wish them well, if you are wondering how to do it; here's how you can too, as shared previously.
- Be true to yourself: This trait goes a long way in not only breaking the ice, but also in further cementing the relationship. Your in-laws will be there for the rest of your life, so it's better to be who you actually are in front of them. Be honest with your ideas and thoughts and do not lead them on into believing that you're somebody else.
- Let them know you value them: After all your in-laws are your spouse' parents and they deserve equal respect and appreciation as your own parents. If they have done something for you, there is no harm in appreciating their effort and letting them know you acknowledge their good deed.
- It's all about give and take: Let's not deny the fact that a marriage needs a lot of work and not only between two partners, but also between two families. So either way, both parties will have to adjust for the marriage to be a success. Therefore, it's a good idea to adjust and give in wherever needed.
