While actress Tara Sharma was out of sight for a really long time, she was definitely not out of mind of her fans and wowed them with her novel show on parenting and families after she became a mother.
She's also a yoga fanatic, which not only helped her fit into her pre-pregnancy jeans within days after labour, it is also behind that amazing facial glow that makes us all go green with envy.
Mother to two adorable kids, Zen and Kai, Tara now hosts the "The Tara Sharma Show – Ek Nayi Ma Ka Safar" and talks about coping with the demands of parenthood with her guests. The show has been getting rave reviews for it's simplicity and unusual format.
From her show it's clear that Tara is a doting mother and spends a lot of time with her family as well, something that is also evident from her Instagram posts. Check them out!

Tara appeared in quite a few Bollywood films as well before she became a mother and though she was not quite successful, she appeared in quite a few good movies such as Om Jai Jagdish, Khosla ka Ghosla, and Masti.
Her father Pratap Sharma was a famous Indian playwright, novelist, author of books for children. Perhaps this is the reason why Tara has a strong inclination towards creativity and her unusual way of presentation just connects with the audience instantly. This is why her show is now going global.

"It is exciting as the encouragement and positivity post various meetings about the show in Los Angeles made me happy as I was amazed by the response. Though the show is rooted in India but as it is in English and the topics we address in the family and parenting space are universal, I always felt the audience could be global," says a happy Tara.

Tara married Roopak Saluja in 2007 and it is his company, The 120 Media Collective, that produces the show.
‘The Tara Sharma Show – Ek nayi ma ka safar’ / Diaries of a new Mum, is a non-patronising, often humourous and hopefully helpful look at bringing up kids. This show is an honest take on what I feel is a right way to bring up my children. My husband Roopak’s company, The 120 Media Collective, is co-producing it with me. At times I joke with him by saying that he is the co-producer of our kids as well as the show," she said in an interview.
