He's Desi Like All Of Us: THIS Is Taimur's Favourite Food! He's Desi Like All Of Us: THIS Is Taimur's Favourite Food!

Taimur Ali Khan is in love with one particular fruit and vegetable and we bet it is most certainly your baby's favourite too!

Taimur Ali Khan maybe a star kid, but at the end of the day he is just a regular 10-month-old baby. He also loves playing with his squishy little toys, strolling about in his pram, and spending time with his parents.

But let's be honest, he certainly the most adorable celebrity baby.

In fact, his cherubic looks often force people to wonder what he eats that makes him so delectable? Is Kareena feeding him something extraordinary to make him look different from regular babies?

Well, the answer is yes! Yes, you read that right.

Taimur's favourite food!

While on a promotional spree, dad Saif Ali Khan couldn't help but reveal some well-kept secrets about his pudgy little baby, including his food habits and the one food he absolutely loves to devour.

A post shared by Bollywood Hungama? (@realbollywoodhungama) on Oct 3, 2017 at 12:25pm PDT

Talking to a media daily, Khan said, "The first time he ate swadisht (tasty) food after milk was quite an adventure. We gave him dal and mixed potato and he was like hmmm (not bad). It is fun to feed him.”

The new dad also inferred that while most new babies are given formula milk or even cerelac, Taimur was introduced to fruits and vegetables and he developed an instant fondness for them.

He added that at the moment his 10-month-old baby loves a combination of fruits and vegetables and his favourite are carrots as well as pears.

"At the moment I think it’s mashed pear and carrot," shared Khan while talking about his baby's current food obsession. But it's not abnormal for a baby to like these tastes after he has been on a consistent milk diet.

In fact, a steady mashed fruit and vegetable diet is precisely what new parents should begin with.

And in case you have a new baby and are wondering how to introduce solids to your little one, here's how you can begin as listed in this article before.

Ways to start solids in babies

Before you introduce solids into your six-month's diet, look for signs that indicate that he is ready to eat something other than drink breastmilk. Look for the following sings:

  • Does he have a good control over his head and neck?
  • Is he interested in what you are eating?
  • Is he reaching out to the food on your plate?
  • Does he willingly open his mouth when you place a spoon near his lips?

If he checks all these boxes, then be assured that your baby is ready to go to the next step and start solids.

Now the question is how do you introduce solids?
