Actor Sanjay Dutt may seem like an open-minded father, but he is very much a desi dad at heart. No wonder then he recently admitted that he threatened daughter Trishala Dutt to not to join the film industry and do something else in her life.
The actor who is now making a comeback in the movie Bhoomi, openly spoke about his disapproval on Trishala joining the industry and even went on to say that he wanted to "break her legs."
"I've invested a lot of time and energy to put her in a good college and she has done very well. She has specialised in forensic science... And I think that's a great thing to do," Dutt told a leading daily.

So following his daant, Trishala settled for a life in New York, but not without making a name for herself. The gorgeous gal has given herself a complete 360 degree makeover and owns a successful business in the fashion industry.
Dutt, who was born and brought up in New York completed her bachelors as well as masters degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City.
But her dreams of becoming an actor were quashed by her daddy, so she decided to work in the fashion industry and founded Dream Tresses, a hair extension company in New York City.
The 28-year-old who looked quite frumpy and chubby at one point, shed all the extra kilos and is extremely determined to maintain a healthy body and therefore, hits the gym regularly.

She recently gave everybody a peek into her 'secret' exercise regime that helped her shed all those extra kilos.
The daughter of one of most famous actors in the country also shared an emotional story about her weight loss and exercise regime and the reason she has so far refrained from doing so on social media.
"I usually don't post about the gym (because I'm not about that life and I'm far from a gym rat) but since so many of you always ask, I've decided to show a little bit on my IG story. One thing I dislike is my upper body...I'm extremely broad on top and really tiny on the bottom (which I can never change about myself because that's my body structure...I was born that way) When I gain weight you'll see it on my face, arms, chest, shoulders. I can't stand myself when my body decides to go on a happy spree and fluctuate) However, after many, many years I've learned to accept myself for the way I am. As long as my clothes fit the way I want and...I...(I emphasize on the letter...) like the way I look naked...I don't care. I am my own competition. I especially want to thank my darling Cristina for the motivation and drive. I love you so much my flower! -- Learn to love YOURSELF...Do it for YOU...The minute you do it for others, you set yourself up for failure.......and thats certainly not happening over here! My confidence stays glowing internally and externally. #peepthatdefinition (sic)," she wrote.

- Alternate between exercises: A person who has just started to exercise may easily get bored or lose interested unless you incorporate different types of exercises in your routine. So if one day you are sticking to cardio, the next day you can add yoga or pilates to your routine.
- Be as regular as possible: It's easy to give in and give up, but it's quite difficult to keep at one thing regularly. If you are truly motivated to get healthy and reclaim your body which may have been abused due to bad eating habits and a sedentary lifestyle, there is no better time than now and no better way that to be regular.
