1. Taj Exotica - Benaulim Beach

The large expanse of lush green lawns at the Taj Exotica are gorgeous but it is the [email protected] program that has our attention. Your children will not find a chance to be bored with the range of activities offered. There is an outdoor play-ground as well as an indoor activity center with board games and play stations.

The pool slides are always fun. Different creative workshops are conducted for children every day of the week. These include straw art, bamboo art, and pottery. So apart from fun memories, your children might just go back with a new hobby too!

Restaurants have special menus that the young ones would find exciting. If you want more privacy, you can also choose to book your own villa with a private plunge pool and relax in luxury as the kids float or splash around right where you can see them.

2. The Grand Hyatt - Bambolim

The Grand Hyatt boasts of 28 acres of green lawns that roll all the way to the water’s edge on Bambolim Bay. There is an outdoor pool and indoor pool and also an outdoor kiddie pool area. Camp Hyatt runs on a daily schedule of 9 am to 9 pm and is more than equipped to keep the kids busy with craft projects, pottery, kite flying, scavenger hunts, story time, movies and more.

They also have PlayStation 3 and Wii, along with a story book collection and assorted board games. Dance, swimming and yoga classes can be booked in advance.

3. Holiday Inn Resort - Mobor Beach

If you aren’t too keen on spending your money on a luxury stay then The Holiday Inn Resort offers great value for money. The hotel has a private beach access to sandy Mobor beach, which is just what you need to complete your South Goa experience.

The staff is friendly and very welcoming towards children. There is an outdoor pool, children’s play area and an activity room too. Keep in mind though that some of the activities are chargeable. They have a live entertainment program almost every evening.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. You can choose from four restaurants onsite and also enjoy drinks at the sundowner lounge as you watch your beautiful Goa sunset.

4. L’Amore Beach Cottages - Ashvem Beach

L’Amore Beach Cottages are a great alternative to resort living. Experience Goa in hand-built cottages made from natural materials like coir, wood, sticks, cane, palm leaves, bamboos, and ropes. Every cottage comes with a mini-verandah and modern bathrooms.

Join your kids in the white sandy beach right outside or hang out in the chill-out area old-style on the sunbeds, swings or hammocks with a book from the mini-library. You will find plenty of restaurant options along the beach stretch. Keep in mind that this area gets pretty quiet during the off-season.

5. Alila Diwa - Gonsua Beach, Majorda


Looking to get away from the hustle bustle of North Goa and chill right in the lap of luxury? Look no further than Alila Diwa. The resort is set amidst green paddy fields. The rooms and suites are very modern and wait till you hear what they have in store for the younger ones.

Alila has a kids’ club for children below six who are kept busy with games and art & crafts by their well-trained staff and a separate teen zone with bean bags strewn around, video games and foosball too. The private mini-theatre screens two movies a day at 3pm and 6pm from a selection of Hollywood and Bollywood movies.

They even have a children’s infinity pool with safety rails and kid-sized lounge chairs. There’s an ice-cream truck permanently parked near the pool. Too much excitement? Book a spa appointment for a full body relaxing children’s massage!
