India's first female superstar Sridevi passes away just weeks before her daughter's Bollywood Debut!
Sridevi passes away in Dubai at the age of 54...
Life can be so unpredictable! Just yesterday she was posing is lehengas, clicking cheerful selfies with her daughters, Jhanvi and Khushi, and a few hours after that she's gone! Bollywood's first female superstar, the Hawa Hawaii girl, Sridevi passed away in Dubai after a cardiac arrest late last evening. She was only 54.
Sridevi was in Dubai to attend the wedding of Boney Kapoor's cousin's son, Mohit Marwah. The whole Kapoor clan including brother-in-law Sanjay Kapoor, husband Boney Kapoor and her daughter Khushi were by her side at the time of her death, say reports.
Sridevi's Instagram is filled with candid pics from the wedding in Dubai. Check out this picture that she posted a couple of days back.
It's also heartbreaking to know that Sridevi has died just weeks before her daughter Jhanvi's Bollywood debut film, Dhadak. She was eagerly waiting for that. In fact, the whole family and her fans were waiting to see if Jhanvi would create the same magic on screen as her Bollywood Diva mother.
It is only sad that Sridevi couldn't live to see it. And her dearest elder daughter Jhanvi, who was not there in Dubai with Sridevi due to her film commitments, would deeply regret not being there with her when she passed away.
What's even more shocking is that Sridevi was fitter than most of the younger actresses of today. So what could have led to that massive heart attack is something we will come to know only later on.
We offer condolences to the Kapoor family and pray that God gives her daughters all the strength in this world to come to terms with this big loss.
May the Roop ki Rani find peace in heaven. Amen!
