Shveta Salve has been making heads turn with her super hot pregnancy style and her bumpy bikini-clad sojourns. Add to that, a recent ramp show where she walked proudly flaunting her cute baby bump. Spectacular!
But if that wasn’t enough to blow our minds, here she is with another blockbuster – a pregnancy shoot that will make you go WOW!
These pictures shot by Monisha Ajgaonkar have been creating quite a buzz on social media, and why not, after all she is celebrating motherhood in quite a revolutionary manner.
So brace yourselves for some amazing shots!
Speaking to The Quint about this shoot, Salve is quoted as saying, “I just wanted to do simple pics, so the black and whites are more me. But Monisha (photographer) wanted to do some fun experimenting, which I believe worked well too.”
Ajgaonkar chose ‘Blooming’ as the theme of this pregnancy shoot and might we say, Salve is slaying it to the ‘T.’ Plus, the happiness on her face is evidence enough of how she is enjoying this new phase of her life.

In her interview she was also quoted as saying, “I didn’t expect this kind of response. I just wanted to convey a message to fellow mums that one should be comfortable and embrace this phase of life.” Well said!
At first, she wasn’t sure of this variation in the shoot, but it seems as though she loved it just as well. The clothes for this shoot were from Mandira Bedi’s newest resort collection, Salt-by Mandira Bedi.
She also added, “The journey from womanhood to motherhood is a gradual growth in your life, and it’s celebratory and one shouldn’t and one shouldn’t be inhibited.”
She also spoke about how her pictures almost broke the Internet.
“Social media is an open platform and I can’t control some negative comments, but that won’t stop me from enjoying every bit of this time, the change in my body, the stretch marks ‘n’ all. I embrace it and I encourage women to do so.”
