For actor Sonali Bendre, motherhood has presided over career. So much so that it’s been a decade and the actress has never thought of returning to the silver screen besides sitting pretty judging few prime time reality shows.
So when the 40-year-old yummy mummy thought of speaking up about the struggle, the compromises and the pain that went into motherhood, she thought about putting them into words.
In her book titled A Modern Gurukul: My experiments with parenting, published by Penguin India, Sonali pens down her journey as mother, her struggle of coping up with breastfeeding and the other things that follow pregnancy.
The book strives to strike a cord with most mothers in India, resonating with the common problems and subtle solutions to deal with them. Elated Sonali shared the book cover with her fans through a tweet.
