New York Times reports that two high school students in California have made an unusual pact. They committed to only open their Facebook account every first Saturday of the month. This is because they have recognized how logging in can keep them from doing the things that really matter such as studying for exams.
Teenagers who want to want to say "no' to the lure of Facebook usually form a support group or cancel their accounts. Although those who are trying to limit their usage admit that the habit is sure hard to kick. As soon as they turn on their computers, they find themselves pointing their browsers to Facebook.
