Mum-to-be Soha Ali Khan is making the most of her pregnancy. Whether it is spending time with husband Kunal Kemmu or going on a pre-baby vacation with her in-laws, Soha is relaxing before the arrival of her D-day.
But that hasn't offset the fact that Soha is also looking forward to working through her pregnancy, just like her bhabhi Kareena and mum Sharmila Tagore. However, she is taking it slowly and prioritising her pregnancy over her career.
"I would take on as much as I can"
"I am going to see how it (my pregnancy) goes. It's difficult to say now but it's definitely possible. I have seen not only Kareena, even my mother was shooting right until her seventh month. So, it all depends. If all goes well. I would take on as much as I can. But if I get tired or unwell, I wouldn't want to do it," shared the glowing 38-year-old, who is currently vacationing in London with her in-laws.
However, having said that, the Rang De Basanti actor also shared that at the moment her priority is her pregnancy and her baby. Naturally then she is being extremely careful about it and is even taking it easy professionally.
"All I want is a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby"
"I don't know what am going to do. But right now, all I want is a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. Later, even I don't know when I am going to be well enough to go out for a meal or travel for the first time or leave my baby alone for the first time. I am going to discover these things," she added.
She also shared her two cents on the hype created by Kareena going 'back to work' as well as Mira Rajput's 'puppy' comment.
"You can't judge other people. Some people chose to work, some need to work. Some don't have the luxury of being at home for 40 days, so there's no right or wrong in this situation," she said.
"You don't know how involved a parent is"
While the 38-year-old shared that one cannot judge others, she also added that if her bhabhi chooses to be seen alone sans Taimur, it is her choice and one that most outsiders are unaware of.
"You can't comment on other people's parenting, until you've been through this yourself. You see things from the outside and don't know what's happening on the inside. You don't know how involved a parent is, and parenting is not an easy task. So how can you judge?" questioned the glowing mother-to-be who is all set to start a new journey in her life.
And as she rightfully mentioned, she is being cautious of her pregnancy and not stressing too much about work. And if you are over 35, you need to be careful about your pregnancy as well.
