Yes, you read that right! An upcoming television daily soap that will be telecast on a prominent Hindi entertainment channel has a plot line that will literally blow your mind because the story of the show is that of a 25-year-old woman playing wife to a 10-year-old boy!
This is seriously a new low for Hindi TV daily soap industry which has been receiving flak, time and again, for its bizarre plots and unreal storylines.

The new daily soap, Pehredaar Piya Ki, will start running on Sony Entertainment television from next month and stars actress Tejaswi Prakash, who became a household name after her debut serial Swaraagini.
The 10-year-old boy who plays her husband is child actor Affan Khan, who plays a prince in the show.

The teaser of the show will literally make you cringe at the end as the little boy brings up a chair, climbs on it next to the lead actress and puts sindoor on the forehead of his wife.

Bizarre plots of Hindi TV serials: Enough is enough!
While there have been TV shows in the past that have been based on themes that have touched the heart of the masses with their heartwarming messages such as Ballika Vadhu (that talked about child marriage) and Udaan (that talked about child labour), there are certain shows that have really crossed the limits of what's right and what's not!

And while as mothers we could still tolerate bizarre plots such as the one in Sasural Simar Ka where the lead actress turns into a makhi, as educated parents we must say that this show has clearly crossed all the limits. How can we forget that in many joint families in India the whole family watches these daily shows together and we totally don't understand what an impact would it have on the kids!
So what is it that the makers of the show are trying to promote through this new serial? Don't you think it needs to be banned? Tell us in the comments below.
