Wow! Shilpa Shetty Kundra's son Viaan baked his fifth birthday cake with a little help from mummy!
Getting the perfect cake was not easy for Shilpa and it took weeks for her to finally come up with the cake that she wanted for her son's birthday.
Shilpa Shetty Kundra's son Viaan turned five yesterday and needless to say the celeb parents threw a lavish birthday party for their son. But, what's surprising is that the little boy baked his birthday cake himself, of course, with a little help from mummy Shilpa.
In fact, the theme for the birthday was Master Chef and Shilpa explained why she chose that as a theme.
Shilpa wrote on Instagram: "So the theme for Viaan's party was 'MasterChef' (since my son loves to cook) We baked his cake together.. Great activity to keep them engaged #unconditionnallove #birthdayboy#lovebaking #happiness #sonday."
But getting the perfect cake was not easy for Shilpa, she says and adds that it took weeks for her to finally come up with the cake that she wanted for her son's birthday.
"Phew! So believe it or not, baked from scratch. The sponge, frosting, crumb coating, stacked and decorated all by me. A week of prep, watching YouTube videos and loads of gumption..all well worth the effort after seeing the smile on my Sons face(all the stuff he normally doesn't get to eat at once, sweet discipline)," she wrote in her Instagram post.
We must say that Shilpa and son Viaan have indeed done an amazing job and the cake looks scrumptious. We're sure the guests had a gala time at Viaan's fifth birthday bash. The guests that turned up for the party were Shabbir Ahluwalia and his two adorable boys and of course Shilpa Shetty's mother and sister, Sunanda and Shamita Shetty.
Divya Khosla also turned up with her son and looked gorgeous in a white one-shoulder crop top and blue pants. The mums had a gala time and Shilpa posted several videos during the day to show how all the mummies were gorging on good food because it was Sunday.
For those who don', know Sundays are binge days for Shilpa and she posts one video having her dessert of the week. This Sunday was special as it was her son's birthday who joined her in the video as they both gorged on cake and malai kulfi. Check out the video:
Making your child's birthday special
Shilpa's gesture clearly shows that nothing can beat a mother's love when it comes to celebrations and you can indeed make your child's birthday an affair to remember by doing different things like baking a cake.
Not only would your child remember it for his life, he would also appreciate the fact that his mother took so much effort to make his day special. And that would be the best gift for any child. Am surely going to do this for my daughter's birthday in July!
