Do you remember your first meeting with your husband? Weren't you a nervous wreck, asking and answering silly questions? Well, I remember my first meeting and let me tell you, it wasn't the most serious one. So the good thing was that by the end of it, we were chuckling like old buddies.
But I am not the only one who felt nervous around my partner in our first meeting. Even celebrities face the same. And some even end up embarrassing themselves.
Take for instance, the new golden couple of Bollywood, Mira and Shahid Kapoor. When the two first met each other, there was nervous laughter, some silly questions and a very serious matter of discussion.

During Kapoor's Udta Punjab's on-going promotional event, a scribe asked him about how he fell in love with Mira, he shared a rather intimate detail about his first meeting.
He said, "I’m still falling in love with her….a bit more every day. The first time we met, we spoke for seven hours. We were at a friends' farmhouse in Delhi."
"We went for a walk outside and the sun was setting behind her. I realised her eyes were not dark. They had a hazel tinge. That moment, I felt shayad main iss ladki se shaadi kar sakta hoon. But I also told myself, “What are you thinking? Bees saal ki hai besharam!”

Since Rajput is a Delhiite, Kapoor was reportedly invited to meet her in the capital city. Interestingly, it wasn't their families who played cupid to the couple. But members of the Radha Soami Satsang Beas. Both the families are followers of the Beas and regularly attend their satsangs.
It was during one such occasion that both families met and decided to go ahead with the wedding. However, it wasn't going to happen before Mira and Shahid officially met each other and gave their proper nod to the arrangement. The happy couple got married on July 7, last year in the most gorgeous wedding.
In fact, the couple is now expecting their first child in September. They are also setting up their home for the arrival of their bundle of joy.
We wish the parents-to-be all the best!
