If you thought lovemaking with your partner would become a ‘job’ post childbirth, think again. It could actually be the best sex you’ve ever had!
So says a UK-based research that studied 1,118 couples and found that when lovemaking resumes after two months of childbirth, it comes back with a new vigour. This enables the couples to enjoy the act of lovemaking more than ever.
UK-based Channel Mum conducted this research, and states that while 94 percent of the couples were satisfied with their sex lives, about 60 percent believed it got better after childbirth.
Interestingly, while most women feel an urgent need to shed those extra kilos piled on during pregnancy, it is in fact those extra kilos that most attracts the men. The research said that men found curvy post-baby body was far sexier than pre-baby bods.
The research, however, shows that men were keen to have sex after the two months period, than women. So while fathers wanted to have sex twice a week, mothers were content with just once a week.
