Yes, that's true! Ex-flames Shahid and Kareena are in news again. This time because of rumours of Shahid's brother Ishaan and Kareena's step-daughter Sara.

Sara and Ishaan would also soon be seen on the silver screen in Karan Johar's official remake of Nagraj Manjule's Marathi blockbuster Sairat. We wonder what Kareena has to say about Sara's alleged relationship with Ishaan as Bebo and Shahid have been in a relationship in the past.

Recent reports now say that Sara and Ibrahim are being two responsible siblings and are even singing lullabies and volunteering for diaper duties. It's glad to know that the two are taking their role as new elder siblings quite seriously.
But all credit for this has to go to Kareena who has always treated them as her own. Kareen's surely shown the world how to get along step kids and treat them like your own friends. Here's what you can learn from her:
1. Let them be: The first and foremost principal to get along with anyone is by just letting them be who they are and giving them complete space and time to deal with this new relationship.
2. Include them in your plans: Kareena never forgets to talk about Sara and Ibrahim whenever she gets a chance and clearly keeps them in mind when talking about her future plans. Perhaps all step parents can take a cue from her on how to earn respect and love from your step kids.
3. Be their friends first: Absolutely no one can take the place of your parents and like it or not, your step kids would not like to have someone as their mum and dad. In such a scenario it would be better to be friends with them rather than trying to be a parent they do not want, just like Kareena has done from the beginning.
