Here's the REALITY behind this photograph of mum-to-be Esha and her dad! Here's the REALITY behind this photograph of mum-to-be Esha and her dad!

This black and white photograph was never meant to be but was a result of an emotional meeting between the father and daughter duo.

Expecting mum Esha Deol recently joined Instagram and has been sharing updates about her life and pregnancy with her many followers. Her introduction to this medium if communication was met a lot of love and good wishes at the time.

And it looks like she is now helping dad Dharmendra do the same as well.

Esha welcomes dad on Insta with a special picture!

The heavily pregnant actor who is soon approaching her due date welcomed her father, the legendary actor on Instagram with a special message. She wrote: ONE LOVE! ONE HEART! (heart emoticon) @aapkadharam.

Needless the say the photograph received a lot of love and good wishes from Dharmendra's fans who clearly loved seeing the famous father-daughter duo together.

But there is an interesting story behind this particular photograph.

ONE LOVE! ONE HEART! ❤️ @aapkadharam

"Any picture with my dad is special"

Interestingly, this photograph was part of a special photoshoot that Esha was doing for herself, when he father suddenly walked in on her. And that resulted in a gorgeous and emotional shoot.

"This is a special picture for me because, any picture with my dad is special. This is another picture which was clicked impromptu during another photoshoot that I was doing at home and dad just walked in. He was already very well-dressed in a suit so I told him, 'Come on, you look ready for a picture. So let's get this clicked'," she shared with an entertainment website.

The radiant mum-to-he also shared that the news of her pregnancy made her dad extremely happy and while he is a man of few words his concern for her was easily visible.

"When my pregnancy got confirmed, Bharat and I first broke the news to my parents, and around the same time, after 12 weeks was when our parents got to know. Papa is a man of few words. He expresses more so just that look of content in his eyes said a lot. It was more than enough to know that he was relaxed and happy to know that he is going to be a granddad again," she shared adding that this father-daughter duo are the best of friends.

"My dad and I are best friends"

Deol shared, "At this point in our lives, at this age, I can say that my dad and I are best friends. There are things that he tells me and I tell him. We both have always got each other’s back. That's something special we share as father and daughter."

And while the legendary actor is quite friendly with his daughter, he did give her some serious pregnancy advice.

"Dad keeps telling me 'Listen to your mom and mom-in-law'. They will guide you the best. And now that I am pregnant, he keeps asking me if I am having right food at right time," shared Deol who often frequents her mum and in-laws' place from Juhu to Bandra respectively.

But this not abnormal in any way. In fact, it is quite natural to forewarn expecting mums to be cautious and eat right. But here are a few more things you might want to add to that list.

  • Regularly visit the gynaecologist to discuss your overall health as well as to check for any pre-existing diseases
  • Seek regular prenatal care and learn about prenatal testing for chromosomal abnormalities
  • Eat a healthy meal and include super foods and diet rich in iron, calcium, folate, fiber and all other essential nutrients
  • Gain weight wisely and do not go on a hogging spree just because you are ‘eating for two’
  • Do regular physical activity to stay fit, healthy, active and energetic
  • Intake of alcohol, tobacco and drugs are off-limits during pregnancy
  • Clear any medications or supplements with your health care provider ahead of time
