Sridevi Funeral: Entire Bollywood comes to pay homage to Mrs India

From bigger stars like Anupam Kher to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vidya Balan, Sushmita Sen to Ajay Devgn and Kajol, to small stars like Rajkumar Rao, actress Kunika, John Abraham, and Patralekha, the entire Bollywood turned up to say goodbye to the Queen of hearts.

Those who went inside say that Sridevi’s body was dressed up in a red saree and she was decked up in red lipstick and bindi. Being a married Indian woman, Sridevi died as a suhagan and looked like one. Here’s a last picture of the gorgeous actress wrapped up in the Indian tricolour.

Before the final darshan, Sridevi’s mortal remains were wrapped up in the Indian tricolour and given full state honours because not only she was a celebrity, but a Padamshri awardee as well.

Fans from across the country thronged the streets of Lokhandwala since morning today to catch a last glimpse of their favourite star.

Arjun Kapoor steps up as older brother

This is indeed a distressing time for the whole family, but one thing that stood out all these days was the way Arjun Kapoor stepped up as the elder brother to support his stepsisters, Jahnavi and Khushi Kapoor.

Arjun was the one who was also taking care of the entire funeral procession, say reports. Right from attending the visitors to arranging for Sridevi’s the final yatra, Arjun took it up as his own responsibility as a dutiful stepson.

It must be noted here that Arjun and sister Anshula were not on good terms with Sridevi and her daughters. Clearly, death has brought the family together and Arjun chose to put his differences aside at this grim hour.
