People often call Abhishek Bachchan a 'doting husband' and a 'loving father' and every time he steps out in public with his family, these epithets only start to make more sense.
He is often seen being protective of his wife and daughter and sticks close to them when in crowded places.
It wasn't a different situation when the power couple recently paid a visit to close friend and designer Manish Malhotra and the photographers came uncomfortably close to Aishwarya.
Photographers click uncomfortable pictures!
Just before leaving the house, Abhishek came out to inspect the number of photographers and informed his wife to come to the car carefully.
Unfortunately, just as she was sitting in the car, a photographer clicked pictures of her from uncomfortably low angles.
Abhishek Bachchan chides the photographers
While as a woman that must have irked Aishwarya, she still kept her cool. However, Abhishek could not tolerate this disgraceful behaviour.
Still at his calmest best, he called the said photographer and asked him to not click such pictures again and delete what he had taken.
Abhishek most certainly handled the situation as a pro, but he has been known to come to his family's rescue as any regular husband and father would.
"Over the 17 years that I’ve known her...she has remained grounded"
In fact, Abhishek has become quite vocal about his displeasure with the way people often treat his wife.
He recently shared with a glossy that some of the 'nasty things' that media wrote about his wife's weight post pregnancy really upset him.
"Soon after Aaradhya was born, the media went at her about her weight gain. Nasty things were written, which really upset me. If that upset her, she said nothing. “Water off a duck’s back,” said Aishwarya when she saw me perturbed. Anyone who knows her would know that she has never spent a day in the gym," shared Abhishek.
He also praised his wife for being a supermum and the most grounded person he has known.
"The first time Aishwarya and I met professionally was in 1999, during a photoshoot for Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke (2000). It was our first film together, and I expected a diva. Instead, she was disarmingly wonderful. Over the 17 years that I’ve known her—of which we’ve been married for 10—she has remained grounded," he shared.
Abhishek further added, "When she became a mother her career took a backseat. Today, she does everything for Aaradhya. She is supermom," shared the proud husband.
Well, Abhishek Bachchan may not be seen in many roles onscreen but his biggest and most successful role has been that of a father and a husband and might we add, he seems to have done them both justice.
