You may have heard about experimental wedding outfits but this one really sent a collective shock and surprise across the Internet.
As soon as a picture emerged of a bride wearing a pair of shorts along with her traditional choli complete with dupatta and all the wedding jewelry, people went in a tizzy commenting about the bridal look.

In what appears to be Sikh ceremony taking place outside of India, a bride is seen along with her groom. While waist up the bride looks all traditional with not a hair out of place, as soon as you see the picture in full length the bride pairing Nike shorts with her lehenga would actually leave your jaws dropped. The groom is seen all along wearing a sherwani and churidar with a turban.
Perhaps the bride got too tired of lugging around a heavy wedding lehenga and decided to ditch her lehenga and opt for a comfy pair of shorts instead mid-ceremony.
Whatever her reasons may have been for going for this never-seen-before look, it left the Internet divided. While some found it downright shocking, others were amused by the look and still some others applauded the bride for giving two hoots to conventional choices and being bold enough to do her own thing.
The picture was followed by another video where the bride looking rather comfortable with her look is seen greeting and hugging her wedding guests.
It must be noted that Indians with their strict codes of conduct especially when it comes to traditional ceremonies such as a wedding are seldom seen flouting rules to such an extent. The bride has certainly set a new benchmark in fusion dressing.
Whether you love the look or hate it, rest assured you cannot ignore it!
Clearly, the face of Indian weddings is changing with time and brides have chosen modern alternatives over traditional ones in many areas. Most brides these days try to strike a beautiful balance between the tradition and contemporary for their special look.
