A simple and easy to follow guide to help you deal with one of the most dreaded tasks that new parents have, changing diapers!

Changing diapers might sound straightforward, but for first time parents, it can be very complicated!

That's why we made you a step-by-step guide to help you quickly learn how to change your baby's diapers!

Step 1:

Make sure that everything you need is ready. Get some clean diapers, cotton balls, warm water, washcloths, diaper cream or ointment, and a change of clothes if your little one has made a mess.

Also make sure to prep the area where you'll be changing your baby's diapers.

Step 2:

Place your baby on the changing table, or any flat, clean surface, on top of a clean folded towel, or a clean diaper.

Make sure to keep an eye on your kid as they might roll over or hurt themselves if you leave them alone. Always keep an eye on them, and keep the things you need close by.

Step 3:

Wipe your baby from front to back, making sure to clean your baby's bottom. If your baby pooped, then you could use the clean areas of their diaper to wipe the extra mess, so you won't have to use an extra washcloth or diaper.

Some parents use a wet washcloth to clean the mess, while others use a cotton ball with baby oil. Some use baby wipes, which are specifically designed for the purpose of keeping your baby clean.

Step 4:

Before placing the clean diaper, make sure that your child's bottom is completely dry in order to avoid any rashes. If you see any red spots, or diaper rash, you can use diaper cream or ointment on the affected area to relieve your child's irritation.

Step 5:

Once dry, lift your baby's legs and place the clean diaper under their legs. If your baby is a boy, make sure that their penis points downward.

Then, pull the diaper between your child's legs, and make sure to fasten it tightly, but comfortably. The diaper should fit snugly, but not too tight, so that you can avoid any leaks.

Step 6:

Make sure to roll up the dirty diaper properly to avoid any leaks. You don't want your trash can to stink when you dispose of the dirty diaper!

Also wash your hands with soap and water once your done.

And there you go, a simple and easy to follow guide to help you deal with one of the most dreaded tasks that new parents have, changing diapers!
