New mum Rani Mukerji is on top of the world these days. Within a span of three years, her life changed completely. She got married to the man of her dreams and then became a mum last year to the gorgeous and cherubic Adira.
And now she is making her comeback with Hitchki. With all these positive firsts in her life, Rani added another feather to her cap and conducted her first ever live interaction with fans on her 39th birthday.
Through the Yash Raj Films Facebook page, Mukerji answered several questions from her fans.
And while most of them were personal congratulatory messages, some even asked her about her marriage to producer Aditya Chopra, her experience as a mother and interestingly about Adira's sibling in the future.
Adira's sibling will come in a few years!
During the interaction Rani was asked about Adira and why she hesitates from posting pictures of her daughter on social media.
“I’m not on social media. I don’t post pictures of my daughter because my husband is a very private person and I respect that. Also, I don’t like saying no to my fans, especially when they ask me to post pictures,” she explained during the interaction.
During the session, one of her fans, Putri, asked, "When is Adira going to have a sister or brother?" To this, the Mardaani star replied, "I think I'll just do some films for all my fans and then I'll take a little break and then comeback," clearly hinting that she is interested in becoming a mother again, but will continue to work.
Although in her recent interview Rani shared that it was tough to start work and leave, Adira, it was her husband Aditya Chopra who pushed her into work.
My husband pushed me into work
The Kuch Kuch Hota Hai star said, "He was after me for about three months from the time Adira was born, because he saw me getting obsessed with her. He said, ‘If I don’t push her now, I think she is going to go into that full-on obsession zone.’ And I am still there. Since I gave birth to Adira, he has been like, ‘Come on! You have to reclaim your life and get back. You have to do your work and you can’t completely immerse yourself’, but I wasn’t ready. I don’t think I am ready even now."

She also added that now that she is back to work, she has made sure that Adira has somebody to look after her.
"When she grows up, I want her to be proud of having a working mother. I hope she respects me for that. I hope she doesn’t feel that I dedicated all my time to my work. When she is 18, I want her to tell me, ‘I loved that you balanced life. You worked and you made your fans happy, you made yourself happy, and you were there for me when I needed you and you were there even when I didn’t need you.’ I want to be a working professional all my life. It is important, and I am thankful to Adi for forcing me back," she shared.
But as she gears up for work and then later to have another baby in a few years, experts suggest that she may have to take more care of herself.
