Mira Rajput knows how to handle the police and she recently proved it!

Mira Rajput knows how to handle the police and she recently proved it!Mira Rajput knows how to handle the police and she recently proved it!

Young mum Mira Rajput was recently pulled up by cops but she did what most star wives do not. Read on to know more.

Living in a new city means adjusting to a new environment, starting a new life and also learning new rules. And if you thought that celebrities do not have do the same, think again.

Because as new mum Mira Rajput recently proved, no celebrity can break a rule without paying for it, quite literally! Yes, you read that right.

The young mum who has finally gotten accustomed to living the high life in Mumbai often travels around the city by herself. In doing so she recently got into a major trouble with the cops.

Mira Rajput apologises to cops

But while most people would panic in such a situation or even start arguing with the cops, Rajput maintained her cool, stuck by the rules and even apologised.

Just yesterday the new mum was out for a lunch date with her husband Shahid and baby girl Misha. And while the daddy and daughter duo reportedly decided to stay back, Mira went out on her own.

However, she was stopped by the cops just as she was about to leave since it was parked in a 'no parking' zone. They also informed her that she would reportedly have to shell out Rs 2,000 as a penalty.

But instead of creating a havoc or demanding to be freed for being a star wife, Mira politely followed the rules.

Mira tows the line and pays a fine

Rajput not only paid the money immediately, she also apologised to the policemen on behalf of her driver and herself.

In fact, the cop who fined Mira shared the details of the incident with a daily after requesting anonymity.

"Usually in matters like these stars/star wives argue to let go off the fine, but Mira was very polite and didn’t hesitate to pay. The car driver has also been fined for jumping the signal in the past,” he shared.

While this was a small price to pay for a person of her financial stature, by simply following the rules and humbly accepting her mistake, Mira displayed her presence of mind and her own moral values. And we are positive she can teach humility and courage to her own daughter as well, even though she herself is pretty young.

But just as Mira did, we as parents can also teach many things to our children if we follow the rules too. Here are a few examples.

3 life lessons we teach our kids when we follow rules

  • We teach them discipline: Children are extremely impressionable and when they see their own parents towing the line, they may not grow up to be rule breakers. Leading by example is a great way of teaching important life lessons, one of them being discipline.
  • We teach about rewards and punishment: When you set the example of paying for your mistakes, you teach your kids about rewards and punishments. These are lessons that teach them to be more careful in life.
  • We teach them courtesy: Apart from learning from mistakes and being disciplined, when we follow rules we also teach our kids to be courteous. If we follow social etiquettes our kids will follow, if we follow the rules of law, they will do it too.
