How to register for the service?
You can opt for this service as soon as become parents. All you have to do is to send a text message (SMS) to the national shortcode 566778 from any mobile phone in India. It has to be in the following format:
Immunize [Space] [Baby's first name] [Space] [Baby's date of birth]
Example : Immunize Nikita 04-11-2013
Next, you will receive a confirmation message from Immunize India. The best feature about this service is that you will receive their reminder service for 12 years post registration of your number.
You will receive the reminders based on this vaccination schedule recommended by IAP's Committee on Immunization (IAPCOI).

How will you receive the reminders?
As per the Immunize India website, three reminders will be sent, at a two-day interval, for each vaccination that is due.
