Mums, here are 3 beauty tricks to instantly make your cheeks look thinner!Mums, here are 3 beauty tricks to instantly make your cheeks look thinner!

These three simple tricks can make your face appear dramatically thinner and enhance your cheekbones

When you look at celebrities you will notice that even though some of them have fuller figures just like any regular Indian woman, there is one thing that separates them from us and makes them appear thinner.

If you haven't guessed it yet, let us tell you that we are talking about their thin faces! Yes, a thinner face can make a huge difference in the overall appearance of your body, making it appear sleeker than it actually may be.

Take a cue from gorgeous mum Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. She looked absolutely breathtaking in her cover shoot and thanks to her thin facial features, her entire figure looked super toned and well put together.

So how did she achieve this look without actually losing a lot of weight? Well, there are three smart and easy tricks that can help you achieve the same glam and instant thinning as it did Aishwarya.

#1 Contour your face

This simple trick can change the shape of your face and make it appear much thinner than it actually may be.

Remember that the light coloured makeup products that you use on your face will bring your features forward, while dark products will add shadow to features you don't necessarily want to highlight.

So invest in a bronzer or a contour kit in your makeup bag and define your cheekbones by using the contouring process. Apply the contour in a diagonal line from the center of the cheek, up towards the earlobe. Then add blush and highlighter to enhance your elevated cheekbones.

Also, don't forget to bring the center of your face forward by adding some of the highlighter on to the center of your forehead.

#2  Draw the attention to your hair

In order to draw the attention away from your round chubby face, you can work on creating layered hair that fall on the sides of your face.

If you create soft waves or curl your hair, it will actually make your cheeks look chubbier and your facial features look bigger. So instead, opt for layered or a straight hairstyle.

This type of hairstyle makes your cheeks look thinner and also somewhat cover the sides of your face. If you have naturally curly hair, you can try to bring them down to soft waves by using a straightening iron. If you have short hair, frame them in layers but shorter than your jawline so that the focus is on your cheekbones.

Also, you should avoid parting your hair in the middle and opt for side parting because that will make your features look softer and not appear that round.

#3 Opt for a lighter lip shade

As much as Indian mums love their red lips, it is also a bit risky it you want to make your face appear thinner.

Darker lips draw the focus to your lips, thereby, taking away the softness and thinness from your face. On the other hand, a softer nude lip or a pink shade lip would balance the features of your face and give them a proportionate look.

People who generally have chubbier cheeks should always opt for softer pinks and nudes and also for pink blush to contrast with their lips. This will instantly make the face appear thinner.
