Yummy mummy Karisma Kapoor has worn some truly unique Indianwear over the past few months and here are a few of her looks you must add to your wardrobe!

Single mum and actor Karisma Kapoor often steals the show with her jaw-dropping outfits. She even gives her fans a sneak peek through her social media accounts. And if you have been following this yummy mummy you'd probably know that she likes to keep things simple.

Often opting for either white or black ensembles, Kapoor manages to look regal and classy even in the simplest of outfits. That's perhaps why she is an inspiration for many Indian mums who like to keep it simple and still look like a show-stopper.

It's also got to do with the way she maintains herself. While dishing out details of how she keeps herself looking svelte Kapoor says, "It’s the way I am. I think I have just evolved as a person, as a human being.  I like fitness. It’s an important part of my everyday life and I enjoy and endorse a healthy lifestyle. Today, Indian women have become very conscious about the way they look, what they eat, what they serve at their dining tables, which is a good thing for their health."

We take you through some of her simplest Indian outfits that are sure to give you some major fashion goals!

#1 Kurta and skirt

In a simple twist to the classic kurta and skirt combination, Kapoor's bestie and ace designer Manish Malhotra draped her in this fun multi-coloured ensemble.

Keeping the short A-line kurta simple with golden sleeves, he played with the skirt, giving it enough colour to amp up the entire outfit. She also kept her accessories simple with just some heavy jhumkas.

It's the perfect Indian wear for those light day events or ceremonies and for mums who like to wear something comfortable, yet something classy. It's also great if you are not too much of an accessories fan. Take a cue from this yummy mummy who knows how to work her charm on a simple attire such as this!

#2 Floor-length anarkali

This yummy mummy seems to favour the trend that took Indian fashion a few years back and continues to dominate the runways even today- the anarkali.

Since Kapoor is a huge fan of the whites, she again went for a white floor-lenght anarkali, which made her look even taller. She wore this for Diwali this year, and accessorised her outfit with some chaandbalis and a gajra and even posed with her daughter, Samaira.

This is a perfect wear for any ocassion since it has the balance of the right amount of embroidery work on the outfit and minimalism. For those mums who may want to hide some belly bulges, this can be a go-to. Plus, not to forget, a floor-length anarkali with a small cinched waist design can give you a slimmer and taller look.

Designed by Anamika Khanna, this outfit is a twist on the traditional kurta and Patiala salwaar. You can take inspiration from this ensemble and try out a version for yourself. This attire is easy to carry and also great for late night parties and wedding functions.

Plus, if you want to give yourself a bit of a breather from an Indian wear overdose, this is certainly the perfect outfit.
