It looks like B-town's newest and most famous mums are at loggerheads with each other. No, it's got nothing to do with their common link, Shahid Kapoor, but their little babies, Misha Kapoor and Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi.
Yes, we are talking about the 'born famous' Kareena Kapoor Khan and the 'married famous' Mira Rajput Kapoor.
Both the yummy mummies who have been hitting the gym with a vengeance may also hit each other if this matter is not sorted quickly.
After all their kids' first birthday party is A big deal to them both. That's correct.
Kareena and Mira war over a party!
The matter of their war is actually over the high-profile first birthday parties of Taimur and Misha.
A popular daily reported that Mira apparently wants to organise a grand birthday party (on August 27) for her daughter who will turn one on the D-day. She has even been approached by British preschool animated television series, Peppa Pig for a theme party.
It seems that since the cartoon was only launched last year in India, they want to ride on Misha and Mira's growing popularity.
Peppa Pig for Misha?
"Hosting a Peppa Pig-themed party for Shahid Kapoor's daughter will help them gain more popularity in India," the source shared with the daily.
Naturally, this type of collaboration will not only make Misha happy on her big day, but also benefit the company. (Even though, we might add, the one-year-old doesn't really care about a cartoon character around but it will surely make her day!)
Bebo also wants Peppa Pig for Taimur!
However, it seems Kareena also wants in on the theme.
Although Taimur's first birthday is on December 20, and far from that of Misha's, she also wants the same theme for her son's party.
"When Kareena heard about it, she insisted on having the cartoon character and the same theme for Taimur's birthday on December 20. But since it's a few months away, Bebo wants to hold a meet-and-greet session with the cartoon figure when it comes to India," the source told the daily.
While these are early speculations, we are sure both the new mums are hard at work trying to figure out the perfect theme for their kids' first birthday party.
After all it is a once-in-a-lifetime affair and even though your kid may not exactly remember anything from the night, these are memories parents can cherish forever.

3 fun first birthday ideas
Yes, you should make a big deal about your baby's first birthday. Because first of all, it'll never happen again and secondly you'll be making memories with your babies and these are stories that last a lifetime. So if you're wondering what theme to go with, do something fun this year and try the following:
- Automobiles, trains and paper mache: You can never go wrong with environment-friendly paper mache toys for kids to make and play with. You can set a competition for the kids and even the parents and award them with small prizes at the end of the party.
- Masterclass and decoration: Baking is not everybody's piece of cake. But it can be a lot of fun if you organise a masterclass for your guests. Ask them to make cookies and cupcakes with their parents and take what they make home. Plus, add a few goodies you made yourself to the basket.
- Storybook wonderland: Open the floor for kids to come dressed as their favourite storybook character. You can also have a reader in the party and a section where he/she reads famous wonderland stories to the kids and perhaps even puts up a skit.
