‘’Mamma, I am proud you work so hard’’: My 9-year-old’s loving message to me‘’Mamma, I am proud you work so hard’’: My 9-year-old’s loving message to me

When my 9-year-old and 4-year-old tell me they love me and that I am the most hardworking ever, I know I got all the biggest rewards in life.

Mamma,

I am so proud of you. You’re always working so hard. You wake up in the morning, give us a kiss, and then, you are there in the kitchen, always making us healthy and yummy food.

Every day in the morning, you run after me and Itu, trying to get us ready quickly for school, helping us wear our uniforms, eat our breakfast on time, and finally run to catch the bus. Sometimes you scold us, saying you are getting angry because we will miss the bus and then you will not take us to school.

But then, as we get to the busstand on time, and you see that we didn’t miss the bus after all, you always give me that smile, which says ‘’see, today you didn’t miss the bus, better be on time tomorrow.’’

And then, as the bus comes, you give me and Itu a tight hug and a kiss, and wish us a fun day in school and tell us to come home soon.

You wave us off to school, smiling all the time.

Mamma, I am proud you work so hard: My 9-year-olds loving message to me

I know you start working as soon as we go to school, making food for us, cooking for yourself, and also starting your work.

Every day when I come back from school, the first thing I ask you is ‘’what did you make for lunch today?’’ and you always try and make us some favourite dish for food, and then surprise me with it. It makes me so happy ma!!

You work so hard ma.

You are always on the computer, working for so many people, for so many places. And I love reading your articles. And I love reading your blogs. And I love it when you work with so many different brands and go to their events, and the fun pictures that you show me. How do you get so many products from so many brands ma? I tell my friends about what you write, and about the things that so many brands send you. And I love seeing them all the time.

I know you keep going to trips on your own, with your friends, or sometimes alone, leaving us home with papa. I know so many people say that it is not good, that you have to be at home with us, and look after us. But you do ma!

You always look after us, you are always here with us, and even when you work so hard, and are an office mamma, you make sure that you try and be with us all the time, and spend more time on your computer, working after we all go to sleep, so that you can spend time with us and also finish all your work.

Mamma, I am proud you work so hard: My 9-year-olds loving message to me

You should go on your trips with your friends, or yourself, any time you want to. You should take your breaks, you need to rest and have fun. I also love playing my friends and meeting them all the time, so you should also do. Papa also goes out every day and meets his office colleagues and his friends also. You don’t get to meet anyone. You also should go and meet. I will not feel bad mamma.

Why do you work so hard mamma?

I am so proud of you. I have never seen anyone work as hard as you, no one. And there is no one who can take so much care of me and Itu and love us so much. I know you get sad so many times when people say you go off without us for your trips, and you get tired in the day and by night time after working for so many hours from morning till late after midnight, and you sometimes get angry when we don’t listen and you feel we won’t be healthy, I know you do all those things.

But mamma, we love you a lot. We are so proud of you. And I want to be just like you when I grow up. So smile mamma, and don’t worry, just rest a little more, and tell me, and I will help you.

I love you ma.

And my dear daughters...I am the luckiest and most blessed ma in the universe...I promise ...
