Maanyata Dutt has done up her room in the MOST sentimental wayMaanyata Dutt has done up her room in the MOST sentimental way

Isn’t this the sweetest tribute to her in-laws?

Against all odds and overcoming all the apprehensions associated with their marriage, we all know that Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt and Maanayata Dutt’s marriage is going great guns.

While the couple that has been married for almost a decade now must be having their own relationship secrets to make it work but looks like we just stumbled upon one of the things that makes their bond truly special.

And the credit for this may go to Sanju baba’s wife. Maanayata has adorned a wall of her room with a big, beautiful portrait of her in-laws -- late Sunil and Nargis Dutt.

The love of a family is the life's greatest blessings❤❤.....where life begins and love never ends?? #Dutts #grandparents #familytime #son #daughter #shahraandutt #iqradutt #love #grace #positivity #home #mumbai #missingpapa #beautifullife #thankyougod?

A life-size picture of the late couple is seen beaming upon the occupants of the house. Dutt who shares the house with his wife Maanayata and twins Shahran and Iqraa is known to be a very sentimental person who was exceptionally attached to his parents.

This small gesture of including their presence every day in their lives is a great step to show that wife Maanayata cares for her husband’s bond as much as Sanjay himself.

Sometime back she had even shared a picture of the room where her kids were casually relaxing, as their grandparents’ lovely picture seemed to bless them. In the most emotional manner, Maanayata had even captioned the picture saying that she missed papa, as in Sanjay’s late dad, Sunil Dutt.

The home décor gives us a glimpse into the fact that Maanayata may have chosen to respect and pay homage to everything that Sanjay holds important in his life.

And looks like Maanayta also gives her husband’s larger than life Bollywood status too equal importance, as another room in the Dutt household has a fiery portrait of Sanjay himself inspired from his roles in movies.

I am still writing our love story!!! Someone caption this picture for me!!! #loveisintheair❤ #beautifullife #dutts #love #grace #positivity #instafam #mumbai #home? #crazynight #lovelydinner #highheels #thankyougod?

We are all aware that the couple’ marriage started on a rough note when most of Sanjay’s friends and his sisters didn’t seem too pleased with his choice. However, even during that phase of rough family times, Maanayata maintained a dignified silence about Sanju’s family.

In an earlier interview, she even mentioned that she chose not to talk about the family to respect her husband’s love for his family.

Maanayata who was a small-time actress before she tied the knot with Sanjay has from the very beginning being very accepting about adopting her husband’s wishes. It was reported many years ago that Sanjay prefers girls to take up their husband’s surnames post marriage and Maanayata was more than prompt to change her surname to Dutt after her marriage.

It is also important to note that Maanayata has been standing with Sanju through thick and thin including the difficult jail term he went through while single-handedly managing their kids.

After years, there were also reports that there was finally truce in the Dutt family and Sanjay’s sisters have accepted Maanayata in their fold. Maanayata was also seen on a holiday with her stepdaughter and Sanjay’s daughter from his marriage to Richa, Trishala Dutt.

Perhaps it is this quality about respecting and nurturing family bond that has gone a long way in sealing the relationship for the couple.

Just like Maanyata Dutt you too can assure that your kids grow up with beautiful memories of their grandparents. Here are a few ideas:

How to take care of your newborn baby's needs at home?
  1. Create a family history album: Beginning from the grandparents and their marriage photos chart the family tree in pictures for your kids to feel connected with their grandparents. This will be one family album that will be as valued as a family heirloom piece.
  2. Talk about the grandparents: If the kids are lucky to have grandparents around them encourage them to talk to their dada-dadi and nana-nani about their life and times. If they are no more still include their stories in your family conversations. Tell your kids about what they used to do their likes and dislikes. A strong family unit is one where the kids know and respect the lineage they are coming from.
  3. Spend time at grandparents home: Try to take kids to your ancestral homes and show them your childhood or what your parents did for you. This way the kids are subconsciously absorbing the wonderful family system and are imbibing values such as loving and caring.
