Love birds Urmila Matondkar and Mohsin Akhtar celebrate their first wedding anniversary!
Happy anniversary you two!
Urmila Matondkar caught everyone by surprise when she married model Mohsin Akhtar in a quiet and private ceremony at her Mumbai residence last year.
"We kept it an exclusive wedding with just family and friends at the celebration. Since our families wanted the wedding to be a low-key affair, we mutually decided to keep it private. We seek your blessings on embarking this new journey of our lives,” the Rangila girl said in a statement after her hush-hush wedding.
The media circles also went abuzz as Mohsin is 10 years younger to Urmila. But, the two love birds have been away from all these talks and secretly enjoying this new phase of their lives together as is evident from their social media pictures.
Today, the super gorgeous couple complete one year of matrimony and Urmila took to Instagram to share the happiness with her fans and followers. Urmila shared an adorable picture of the two of them and also posted a sweet message for her hubby. Here's the picture that she posted on Instagram.
"Here is looking at u hubby... now n forever," wrote Urmila as she wished her model-cum-businessman hubby a very Happy anniversary.
Mohsin also took to Instagram to wish his beautiful wife and also had a sweet message for her. "Nothing comes close to how I feel, when I hold you close. It is a silence that tickles me in the deepest corner of my soul. Happy anniversary my love," he said along with a cute picture of the two of them together.
Urmila and Mohsin's marriage is a perfect example of how age is just a number and it is compatibility that really matters in a marriage. Besides that, there are a couple of small everyday things that keep the sparks alive:
1. Complimenting each other: Giving sincere and simple compliments really means a lot. That's why you should never be shy to compliment your spouse not just for how they look, but also for the food they cooked, the good job they did at work today, or for just simply being a good parent to your children.
2. They fight, but never cross the limits: It's normal for couples to fight, it's a part of all healthy relationships. But what really makes the difference is that when it comes to happy couples, they don't go below the belt. Insulting each other, or bringing up past problems isn't something that they do.
3. They laugh it out: Happy couples also have the habit of solving a difficult problem with a sense of humour. That's what keeps their marriage alive and kicking!
