Listening to these cuties sing 'Jungle jungle baat chali hai' in English will make your day
If you loved Doordarshan's 'The Jungle Book,' then this video of little girls singing the English version of its adorable theme song will simply make your day
If you are a 90s kid, you probably remember the famous title track of Rudyard Kipling's television adaptation of The Jungle Book. Written by popular lyricist Gulzar and composed by Vishal Bhardwaj, the music of Jungle Jungle Baat Chali Hai, was trully definitive of that era.
And if you happen to hear it again, we bet it will take you back to those Sundays where you sipped on Complan and devoured the animated Doordarshan TV series Jungle Book Shonen Mowgli. Makes you smile just thinking about it, doesn't it?
Well, if it does, then this video of little girls singing the verbatim English version of that adorable theme song will simply make your day.
There is no Mowgli, Bagheera, Baloo or even Sher Khan in this video. All you see are five little girls- Arika, Prisha, Gati, Aarsha and Arohi - dancing and singing around in gardens, gazebos and recording studios.
While nobody can take away the charm of 'Jungle Jungle baat chali hai pata chala hai, chaddi pehen ke phool khila hai...,' this new version 'Jungle jungle word is spreading here and there...A flower has bloomed wearing underwear,' has an all together different cutesy appeal.
