Laughter queen Bharti Singh is tying the knot with THIS famous writer!Laughter queen Bharti Singh is tying the knot with THIS famous writer!

"Like every other girl, I too have a dream of getting married," says Bharti Singh as she reveals her wedding date

India's very own laughter queen and television personality Bharti Singh is all set to tie the knot with long-time beau Haarsh Limbachiyaa. Bharti even shared the details of her impending wedding after she rubbished the news about the couple's roka ceremony.

Since the couple have been dating for quite sometime now and have never refrained from sharing cutesy pictures with each other on their social media, there were speculations that their roka ceremony has already taken place.

But like every other girl, Singh shared that she would inform her well-wishers about the wedding when it is finalised and it seems everything is in fact, finalised!

Bharti reveals her wedding date!

Bharti has clarified exactly when this couple will get married and in fact, she was quite specific and even revealed the exact month!

“I’m surprised people have started congratulating me 15 days ahead of my engagement. I am not denying that I am getting engaged but it will only happen by the end of this month," she shared.

Talking the party that started the rumours, Bharti says, "It was a housewarming ceremony, as Haarsh has bought a new house in Andheri. Since there was a puja and havan, we couldn’t offer drinks after a religious ceremony, so we took our friends out for a party.”

That's settled then! But what about the wedding? Bharti shares that the couple have already finalised the month, if not the date.

"Like every other girl, I too have a dream of getting married. In fact, my parents want me to marry as soon as possible. However, I am planning to get settled at the end of 2016. Honestly, even I want to see myself as a typical housewife who is making chapattis for her children. I want to lead a normal life after marriage," she reportedly said.

Laughter couple's love story

The couple who have been together for a few years and Bharti even clarified the number of years.

"Contrary to the reports that I and Haarsh have been dating for two years, I’d like to clarify that we have known each other for seven years and this is our eighth year together as a couple,” she clarified.

The couple actually met on the sets of a comedy show where Haarsh was a writer as Bharti was just starting out as a comedienne. Today, Haarsh works as a writer for Comedy Nights Bachao, which the show where Bharti is a headliner.

The couple have clearly been going strong and the fact they also work together seems to have been an added advantage. But this can only work when you set certain rules to separate personal life from your professional.

When couples work together

  • Set boundaries: When you work together in the same office, you cannot be seen spending all your time together, even if you are in your personal life. It's important to set boundaries so that both of you can work without any baggage or obstruction.
  • Respect each other's position: You work in an office in a designated position and you must work towards maintaining the dignity of that post, irrespective of whether you work with your partner or your relatives.
  • Give space: While you may be relaxed at home, in office, you have to adhere to the rules and one of the rules you should have for each other is to provide ample space. Your partner may not always be your best bud in office and you cannot expect them to spend all their time with you!
