Popular kids icon Rob of Pogo's Mad fame had kids and adults enthralled on Sunday, November 13 as he came to see the tallest racetrack by Hot Wheels created at Phoenix Marketcity in Kurla, Mumbai.
Participating in the 'Make It Epic' event by Hot Wheels, Rob had a fun day out with kids who were visibly excited to hang out with India’s very own “Mr Maker” and got to play some really cool games with their favourite.
Hot Wheels creates the tallest and longest racetrack ever!
The main attraction of the event, besides the star Rob, was the tallest and longest Hot Wheels track, which measured a startling 21-feet in height and 110 feet in length and had five continuous loops for a thrilling experience.
Additionally, the grand set up at the Phoenix Marketcity had many exciting engagement zones to help invoke creativity in the little minds who had gathered there in huge numbers.

What’s more, Rob had a small “Grand Prix” of sorts with his little fans at the various tracks that were set up and the kids not only had fun, but also walked away with the latest Hot Wheels track sets. What more could they ask for?
Calling all the little geniuses!
“Hot Wheels has been a major part of my childhood. I had a bunch of Hot Wheels cars and I would build my own racetracks. From boxes to bottles to books, everything and anything became either part of the track or an obstacle. So imagine my excitement when I started working on this collaboration. The best thing about the Hot Wheels Engineering Series is that the possibilities are endless. Hot wheels can really inspire you to use your imagination in a lot of different ways,” said Rob.
Rob has also created some cool videos with Hot Wheels where he has used materials that are easily available at home. You can access these videos on Rob's YouTube page: . Here's a cool video from the #BuildWithHotWheeels Engineering series:
Using these videos, as a guide/reference, kids can build their own terrains and their idea of a Hot Wheels world. This will help them learn the basics of designing landscapes, structures, working with different materials and techniques thus stimulating their imagination and creativity, taking their play experience to a whole new level!
Kids go crazy for ROB!!!!
#BuildWithHotWheels was conceptualised to enable kids to build their own worlds with Hot Wheels by demonstrating endless play possibilities & purposeful play. And that’s exactly what happened!
“I had never imagined I would be competing with my childhood favourite Rob in a Hot Wheels race,” said 9-year-old Siddharth who was one of the participants.
Even adults were not behind and were cheering and shouting for Rob. “I have grown up watching Mad with Rob on Pogo. He is too good and I had so much fun here today watching him in action,” said 18-year-old Farhan, who was cheering for Rob from the stands.
Rob also posed for selfies and gave autographs to his fans after the show. All in all, we must say that it was a one-of-kind event that had all of us wanting for more! But as they say, all good things come to an end. We look forward to more such events in Mumbai where kids get to do what they like the most—having fun!
