Kareena Kapoor Khan's nutritionist just revealed her special pregnancy diet!
Celebrity nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar credits Kareena's glow to her food choice, which is "a lifestyle choice that impacts ecology and economy"
And anybody who has seen Kareena recently would agree that Bebo looks absolutely stunning and is clearly in the pink of health, quite literally!
So who does she credit for that flawless glow? Her celebrity nutritionist, Rujuta Diwekar, of course!
The reason for her glowing skin goes to her fantastic diet overlooked by Diwekar, who in a recent interview revealed the 'special' diet Kareena is on.
Speaking to Mumbai Mirror, Diwekar said that Kareena's food choice is actually "a lifestyle choice that impacts ecology and economy."
Special pregnancy diet
Diwekar revealed that Kareena doesn't believe in munching on 'exotic' foods, but rather goes for Indian home-cooked meals. This is also the real reason behind her glowing skin.
"She’s happier eating a homegrown banana, dal-chawal or roti-sabzi when in Mumbai and will opt for kachori when shooting in Rajasthan and pasta when in London. Kareena’s food is simple and right," says the celebrity nutritionist who has been counseling Kareena for many years.
The mum-to-be is also known to love yoga and practices almost three times a week, along with eating simple desi food.
Exercise along with simple desi meals
In fact, refraining herself from air-conditioned gyms, step mum to Ibrahim and Sara, Khan simply loves yoga. She combines Pilates workout with yoga to get a healthy and fit body and loves to perform power yoga with surya namaskar and ashtanga yoga.
In an interview, she once thanked her trainer Payal Gidwani Tiwari for helping her transform her body. "Payal has helped me challenge my genes and transform my body,” she said.

The celebrity nutritionist says that she believes Kareena can be a better nutritionist and dietician. That's because she thinks Kareena has displayed great dedication and evolution towards healthy diet and lifestyle over the years.
Pregnancy has not changed Kareena's lifestyle
This evolution, she says, is true for her pregnancy as well. Diwekar says that Kareena continues to eat healthy and home cooked food and practices yoga, even today.
"She understands that she is presently living out a beautiful physical and physiological change, but it doesn’t have to take anything away from her acting calibre, or give people a reason to question her professional capabilities," says Diwekar.
"She’s been eating seasonal food and filming like she always does," she adds.
And it's something that Kareena clearly loves to do. In fact, quite recently she slammed media reports that questioned her working through her pregnancy.
“I’m pregnant, not a corpse. And what maternity break? It’s the most normal thing on earth to produce a child. It is high time the media back off, and stop treating me any different than I ever was. Anybody who is bothered shouldn’t work with me… but my work goes on as is, like always. Stop making it a national casualty. We are in 2016, not in the 1800s. Probably, even at that time, people were way more civilised and normal than the way the media is behaving and speculating now,” says Kareena in an interview.
