This is what the Kapoor Family is doing to cheer Janhvi Kapoor on her 21st birthday
It's Janhvi Kapoor's 21st birthday today and even though she is in no mood for celebrations, the Kapoor clan is making sure that they make it special for her.
It's Janhvi Kapoor's birthday today, her first birthday without her dearest mother Sridevi, and we're sure the girl is in no mood for any celebrations. But the Kapoor clan including her cousin Sonam Kapoor are making sure that they are by her side on her special day.
Janhvi Kapoor turns 21 today. This is her first birthday without mom Sridevi. Since Sridevi has died just a week back, it's obvious that Janhvi is in no mood to celebrate as she is still not gotten over the huge loss.
However, the Kapoor clan that has stood by her side as a rock after the death of her mother, is making sure that they do a small celebration for Janhvi to cheer her up.
A family friend on the condition of anonymity told PinkVilla that the family is planning a quiet birthday for Janhvi. Sridevi was fond of celebrating special occasions and the family is making sure that the tradition continues.
"Though it has barely been 10 days since Sridevi passed away, but because the late actress was excited for her daughter's birthday, the family wants to go ahead with this little cosy celebration," says the report.
Anshula Kapoor will be flying down from England to join in Janhvi's birthday dinner.
"Sridevi had a few plans for Janhvi and she had discussed with Boney. Nobody knew something so unfortunate will happen before that. Despite this great loss, Boney Kapoor plans to celebrate Janhvi's birthday with the entire family being by her side. It will be a tough one for the young girl," adds the report.
It must be noted here that Janhvi's step-siblings, Arjun and Anshula Kapoor have also been by her side and have put all the grudges behind. In fact, Arjun Kapoor took charge of all the responsibilities like a son on Sridevi's funeral.
Yesterday, Arjun's sister Anshula also stood up for her stepsisters when she found out that they were being abused on social media.
"Hi, I’m requesting you to refrain from using abusive language especially towards my sisters, I do not appreciate it & have therefore deleted ur comments. While I am grateful for your passion & love for bhai & me, just a small correction - I was never working outside India. Let’s please spread joy & good vibes. Thank you for the love," she wrote to a troll on social media.
"Cousin Sonam Kapoor also left a sweet note for sister Janhvi on her birthday today. To one of the strongest girls I know, who became a woman today. Happy birthday Jannu:" posted Sonam on Instagram
Janhvi was so touched by the message that she instantly replied: "Love You!"
It is commendable that the Kapoors have really put all their differences behind and come together as a family in this grim hour. Even Boney Kapoor mentioned that he was overwhelmed with the support of his the family, especially his kids Arjun and Anshula.
"I am blessed to have the support and love of Arjun and Anshula, who have been such pillars of strength for myself, Khushi and Janhvi. Together, as a family we have tried to face this unbearable loss," he wrote.
We wish Janhvi a very happy birthday and wish her all the very best for her debut film.
