Hema Malini and Dharmendra's youngest daughter Ahaana Deol became a mum last year. While Esha Deol had shared a few pictures of her baby shower last year and also one picture when Dharmendra met his grandson for the first time, we all were just craving to see a photo of the new mother with her son.
The wait is finally over now as the first picture of Ahaana with her son Darien is out! The new mum and baby look extremely cute as they happily pose for the camera. Check it out!
Ahaana got married to Delhi-based business Vaibhav Vohra in a big fat Punjabi wedding in February 2014. Reports say that it was daddy Dharmendra who played cupid between the two and coaxed Ahaana to meet Vaibhav and strike a conversation.
Ahaana was blessed with a baby boy last year and it was nani Hema Malini who took to Twitter to make the announcement.
Ahaana's mother Hema was also very excited at Ahaana's wedding and said that it was her father who was very tensed at that time as Ahaana is his laadli.
“I’ve told Dharamji, tension bilkul nahin lene ka (don’t take any tension). He’s very nervous and tense. Ahana is his laadli (favourite). I’ve told him to just relax and leave everything to me and my family,” she said.
The legendary actress had also shared that she was very happy to be welcome two sons in her life now. “People always reminded me that I’ve no sons, only two daughters. But I want to tell them that now I’ve two sons. Both my sons-in-law are as good as my own sons. In any case, my daughters are like my sons as well as daughters. Esha always says she is my son,” she had said at that time.

As mum Hema says, actor Dharmendra is extremely close to Ahaana and even Esha. Apparently, Dharmendra got really tensed when he learned that Ahaana would be shifting base to Delhi after marriage. He also got emotional at the time of her wedding and said that the youngest child always remains the baby of the family.
“A daughter’s wedding is every parent’s responsibility. We don’t want to get rid of our daughters; it is painful, but has to be done," an emotional Dharmendra had said at that time.
Fathers and daughters indeed share a special bond and fathers have a huge impact on their daughters’ life. Dads should make it their responsibility to let their daughters feel beautiful, valued, and loved as they grow into their best selves.
