Ye kalyug hai, ghor kalyug!
You may have heard about horrible sons torturing and abandoning their parents. But what this 45-year-old son did to his 70-year-old mother is unimaginably horrific.
As per reports, a 70-year-old woman from Batala, Punjab, filed a rape complaint against her own son, who she claims raped her for two long years.
Mother suffered in silence
The victim who has four sons and three daughters was living with her bachelor son while the rest of her kids were married and settled elsewhere.

She also alleged that her son would often come home drunk and rape her in an inebriated state.
While she remained silent for two years in order to protect her family's name, she couldn't hold back when she met one of her daughters and reportedly narrated her ordeal.
This prompted the family to immediately file a case against the son, who at the moment is absconding.
The case has sent shockwaves across the country, yet again questioning the safety of women against sexual abuse within the four walls of their own home.
When family turns into abusers!
Case #1
The horrific incident comes close on heels of yet another incestuous case where a 12-year-old girl was raped by her own father.
That incident came to light when the victim (a Gurugram resident) attended a class about 'good touch, bad touch.' She then revealed her ordeal to her close friend who in turn reported the matter to the school principal.
The victim allegedly told counsellors as well as the police that she was regularly abused and when she resisted, her father would beat her up and torture her.
Not just that, her mother was also aware of the sexual assault, but chose to remain mum.
Sadly, just a few days after the Gurugram incident another horror story came into light.
Case #2
This time a Delhi-based mother reportedly kept getting her 24-year-old daughter raped by a baba for her so called shudhi karan (holy cleansing).
“He took me to a room in our house and raped me, saying without it the cleansing procedure would not be complete,” the victim narrated her ordeal.
All of these cases are proof that sexual abuse and is vey much a problem within the four walls of a house as well. Women are left unprotected inside the safety of their own homes and more often than not they end up suffering in silence.
However, you do not have to.
