Just months after their wedlock in November last year, newly married cricketer Yuvraj Singh and wife Hazel Keech were bombarded by questions of an impending pregnancy.
They heard questions like "Good news kab de rahe ho? (When are you giving us the 'good news'?)." And with recent pictures of the couple exiting an airport, speculations have only risen.
So Keech has finally decided to reveal the truth and address her pregnancy rumours- making it official!
"No, I am not pregnant"
The actor spoke to an entertainment daily and revealed, "I appreciate you are not copying and pasting the rumours since you're the only media person to actually ask me - No, I am not pregnant."
However, she did earlier reveal that pregnancy and parenthood was not off the table.
"Nothing is set in stone as of now. It'll happen when it has to happen as our marriage happened. It's destiny. I don't know how will it happen, if I am pregnant will he be around as he has to travel so much," she shared.
"I hardly see him post-marriage"
Keech who has been working on theatre productions also shared how marriage has changed her and Yuvraj.
"Between us, not really. I think we are kind of happier now and we both have the security of marriage with us. You know he is far busier now, so I hardly see him post-marriage," she said adding something interesting about her mother-in-law.
"He was fortunate enough to have a mother like that. She is his pillar in its truest sense. I know people call him a mamma's boy but she has been devoted to him at the time of cancer," shared Keech.
Well, it is quite clear that the newlywed couple is not thinking about babies and parenthood at the moment. And let's be honest, becoming a parent cannot be a decision based on a whim. It must be well-thought out and planned.
If you are also considering pregnancy, we suggest you take this test and check if you are absolutely ready!
- Are you psychologically ready? It doesn't matter what your financial situation is or how all your friends are having babies. What matters most is if you are ready to become a parent. If you feel it from within then everything else will automatically fall into place.
- Are you financially ready? As gorgeous as maternity shots look and the excitement to flaunt a baby bump seems, a baby comes not only with huge emotional responsibility, but also financial. Once you are through (the hard task of) raising a toddler, his/her school years will begin and then college and so on. And that would mean major investment. So if you have decided to become a parent, work on your financials, do some savings and move on from there.
- Are you physically ready? A baby is a huge commitment for your body as well and so it needs to be prepared for what's coming. This means getting yourself tested and checked. This also means leaves all your vices behind, so quit smoking, and binge drinking and prepare your body to be healthy and able to carry another human.
