Since his birth last December, Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi has managed to hog more eyeballs than his celebrity parents. His every outing is photographed and he already has a loyal fanbase, thanks to his gorgeous and cherubic looks.
But all those days of photographing Taimur are about to be over for a while. The little prince is shifting base out of India to accompany his doting mum.
Yes, you read that right!
Taimur's first trip abroad with mum
The protective mum (reportedly) is all set to fly off to her favourite destination in the last month of June and she has already planned to take along Taimur on his very first trip abroad.
The Jab We Met actor who has now decided to relax on the movie front and prioritise Taimur over her career, is currently working as a brand ambassador for international brands. In fact, she recently bagged a luxury watch deal and is going to London to sign on the dotted line.
With the trip being week-long (and maybe extendable), Kareena plans to take her six-month-old son along.
"London tops the list of Kareena's favourite cities. She will be going there in the last week of June to sign on the dotted line once the money part have been discussed and finalised. It will be a week-long trip for the actress," a source told a leading daily.
Doting mum Kareena won't leave Taimur's side
It was also revealed that a commercial for this luxury brand will be shot in Europe in July and so this may turn into a longer trip.
"They are yet to zero in on the location. Since it will turn into a long trip for Bebo, the actress is considering travelling with Taimur this time," revealed the source.
This trip also puts all previous speculations about his travels to rest as this will be Taimur's very first trip abroad!
Needless to say then, Kareena must be on her toes to make sure all the arrangements for the travel are done and he is never alone. This is crucial because Taimur Ali Khan is only six-months-old and that means he will need extra care and attention for this to be an easy journey.
And if you also considering an international trip with your baby and wondering where to begin, worry not, we have you covered. Here are a few things you need to remember when you travel with a baby on long-haul flights.
3 things to remember while flying international with your baby
- Prepare a checklist: This may sound like something you always do. But in case you don;t, you must, especially when little kids are involved. Make sure to have the passports ready (with scanned copies in your mails), flight and hotel bookings done, credit or debit cards changed to international, cash in the bag and clothes and shoes packed to the minimum basics. And most importantly, inform the airlines that you are travelling with a baby so they can assist you whenever needed.
- Pack light: There can never be more emphasis on packing light especially with kids. However, if you are travelling with your baby, make sure to pack a diaper bag with all the necessary items including extra diapers, food, clothes, wipes and medicines. But also don't forget to take one extra shirt on your flight (just in case the baby decided to rain in your parade!).
- Be yourself: If you're worried of being judged by people on the flight, because your baby is crying and uncomfortable, don't be. You won't see these people again. Help your baby feel relaxed and one way to do it is to breastfeed the baby so he is full and ready to sit for the long-haul flight.
