The birth of a baby can bring immense joy and gratitude in the lives of the parents. And new mum Geeta Basra and dad Harbhajan Singh are no different!
The couple who became parents to their little bundle of joy, Hinaya Heer Plaha in July this year are over the moon with her arrival. In fact, quite recently Singh admitted to doing his daddy duties religiously and even said that he used to get up at night with his baby, before she developed her napping schedule.
“When she sleeps, we sleep. When she is up, we are up. I am doing all to be a great dad to her. Just want to be the best one for my little one. Hopefully, I can fulfil all her needs,” says the doting dad who was recently in India with Hinaya and wife Geeta to attend close friend Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech's wedding and reception.
The couple who brought their little bundle of joy for the first time to India, were seen posing together on a 'family's day out' as they headed back to the UK.
This is the first time the four-month-old Hinaya has been seen publicly with her parents and daddy dearest couldn't help but share his joy with his fans. She looks all grown up and cherubic now with a head full of hair! Awww!
He shared this picture with his wife and daughter and captioned it, "Travel day with family," adding two milk bottles at the end!
Geeta shares precious moments with daughter
And while this is only the second time Bhajji paaji has shared a picture of his baby girl, new mum Geeta has shared quite a few sneak peeks of her little bundle of joy.
Basra shared a picture of her baby girl just five weeks back, where the little one is seen wearing a onesie that reads "I'm just as tall as daddy."
She cutely captioned the post and wrote: "Nearly there my lil one ... #timesflying #hinayaheer #myjaan #myworld #blessed #grateful." She also shared a picture of her daughter wearing similar denims as her as well as one with Harbhajan strolling his little bundle of joy.
But more or less Geeta Basra and Harbhajan Sigh have been careful not to share images of their baby's face, just as Shahid Kapoor, Rani Mukerji and even Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
All of these celeb parents refrained from sharing pictures of their kids while they were still babies and it is an important thumb rule for urban parents whose kids can quickly be exposed to the social media.

Pictures you must never post on social media
While privacy is an important aspect that is difficult to maintain especially in this age of social media, it is also something new parents must make an effort to preserve.
Take for instance new mums Geeta Basra, Mira Rajput and for the longest time Rani Mukerji, who only recently broke the spell when she shared a special picture of her daughter on her first birthday.
All of them preferred to not share pictures of their baby for a very special reason.
The reason is that candid pictures of babies must be kept away from social media to protect them from imminent danger from peadophiles and child abusers. So how do you prevent this? Well, the answer is simply 'not sharing certain pictures of your baby.'
5 pictures you must never share on social media
- Pictures of bath time: Refrain from posting pictures of your baby taking a bath. This is a special bonding time between you and your baby and nobody needs to be in on it. Such pictures can make your babies susceptible to peadophiles who can use them for child pornography.
- Pictures of potty-training: This is a very candid moment and something that should remain between a parent and his/her child. This milestone is your baby's life must never be shared or exposed on social media since it can later become an embarrassment for your kid and open him to unsavoury comments.
- Pictures of an unwell child: Refrain from posting pictures of your unwell child because as parents it is our responsibility to protect our kids and not make them feel vulnerable. Even if you clicked it without any malicious intent, do not post it on social media.
- Pictures of places that reveal too much: Social media has become a medium not only for the innocent, but also for criminals. When you post pictures and location of your child's whereabouts, you make him/her susceptible to be spot by such criminals.
- Pictures shaming the kids: You may have noticed some pictures of dogs being shamed on the social media with placards hanging around their necks that read, "I chewed the toilet roll," or "I ate all the food!" Sadly, many parents have also tried this 'fun' act on their kids. But even in fun, you must never publicly shame your kid. This may not only ruin your relationship with your kid, but there are chances he may suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder.
