From organising elaborate home pujas to throwing grand Ganesh Chaturthi parties, Bollywood celebs went all out to celebrate their favourite festival.

Ganpati 2017: How the stars brought home Bappa

From Lal Baugh to Marine Drive, Bollywood celebs were all over Mumbai celebrating the city's favourite festival, Ganesh Chaturthi. While some brought Bappa home and shared their joy through social media, others chose to keep it simple and away from the cameras this year.

There were also the Ambanis who invited the who's who of Indian celebs and celebrated the festival with much fervour.

Sonali Bendre brings bappa home

The 10-day festival that began on August 25 saw many Marathis including the famous Sonali Bendre bring Bappa home.

Along with her husband Goldie Behl and son, Sonali installed Ganpati deva at her home and later took the idol for visarjan.

Arpita Khan's grand Ganpati

Salman Khan's younger sister celebrated ganpati at her home with her in-laws and her one-year-old son Ahil as well as her husband.

Khan played the perfect host as she welcomed many of her friends who came to see Bappa at her home and with the happy family.

Actors Priyanka Chopra as well as ex-sister-in-law Malaika Arora Khan also came to visit and wish Arpita on the auspicious day.

Sanjay Dutt and his three Ganpati celebrations

Actor Sanjay Dutt and wife Manyata did not just have one but three Ganpati celebrations. They started with a puja for his latest movie and followed it up with a puja in their own home.

The happy couple then proceeded to celebrate the grand Ganpat party thrown by the Ambanis, which also saw many other famous faces.

Although Aamir Khan does not bring home Ganpati or observe the 10-day celebrations, he does make sure to pass on his wishes to his dear friends. And this time he headed to the Ambani Ganpati celebrations.

Accompanied by wife Kiran and son Azad, Mr perfectionist attended the Vinayaka Chaturthi celebrations. These celebrations usually begin on Shukla Chaturthi, which is the fourth day of the waxing moon period and end on the 14th day known as Anant Chaturdashi.

Aishwarya and Abhishek attend Ganpati celebrations

During the special Ganpati celebrations Aishwarya Rai Bachchan along with husband Abhishek and daughter Aaradhya attended the Ambani Ganpati celebrations.

The trio looked happy and relaxed and were dressed impeccably, as always. However they did follow it up with a pandal visit the very next day.

Other famous faces including Priyanka Chopra, Sara Ali Khan, Khushi Kapoor and the mother-daughter duo of Karisma Kapoor and Samaira also attended the Ambani Ganpati celebrations.

Needless to say, all the ladies were dressed to the nines and looked ravishing.
