Let’s face it. Once we have our babies and the initial few weeks and months pass by, the one thing that does get our attention a lot is the sagging breasts.
No, there is nothing to be ashamed of if your breasts are out of shape and sagging. After all, they are the source of the most precious source of nourishment and life to your little darling, and they deserve to be loved and taken care of.
However, once you stop breastfeeding, you can surely get your breasts back in better shape (if you want to). A few simple exercises at home is all you will need to start off.
3 simple and effective exercises to get your breasts back in shape after breastfeeding
1. Pull over with dumbbells
For this exercise, you will need a bench and a set of dumbbells.
- Lie down on your back on the bench and hold the dumbbells in your hands.
- Bring your arms over the head, raised up towards the ceiling.
- Bring the arms back down to your sides.

2. Dumbbell fly
For this exercise you will need a yoga mat and a set of dumbbells.
- Lie down your back on the yoga mat and hold a dumbbell in each hand.
- Spread out your hands to the sides and slightly keep the arm twisted around the elbow crease.
- Lift up the arms and take them above your shoulders and hold the position for a few seconds.
- Bring back your arms slowly to the sides again.
- For more effective results, try not to touch your hand down on the ground as you bring them downwards.
3. Chest fly
For this exercise you will need a set of dumbbells.
- Stand straight or sit down on the floor with your legs crossed.
- Hold a dumbbell in each hand.
- Raise your arms on both sides with a slight bend at the elbow. Make sure your palms are facing towards the front.
- Now bring your arms to the front, so that your palms are in front of your face. Maintain the position of the elbow with the slight bend.
- Hold the position for a few seconds then move back to the starting position.
