Do You have a Kangana in You? I DO!

Do You have a Kangana in You? I DO!Do You have a Kangana in You? I DO!

What does a socially acceptable woman need to be? Conforming, pleasing, adaptable, an ideal daughter, sister, mother, wife?

So, the weekend was crowded, reading inspiring Mothers Day Tales and also funny reading Hrithik-Kangana War games, not to mention the recent updates on the Pratyusha Suicide case.

Amidst all this my mind suddenly stumbled upon a thought. A common factor strikingly hits in all 3 occasions-the factor of being a woman..

a) A woman like Pratyusha who gave up her life for Love- Was it?-Not sure,

b) A woman like a Mother who is an epitome of selflessness and undying inspiration and,

c) A woman like Kangana who has suddenly gone all over to announce and blatantly accept what she is…

But what amidst all this had me tingling and pushed me to write this article was the Kangana in me.

What does a socially acceptable woman need to be? Conforming, pleasing, adaptable, an ideal daughter, sister, mother, wife...etc… What if is she’s the ideal lesbian or the ideal girlfriend-to a single or married guy? What if she’s the ideal fantasy woman every man wants? Oops stepped beyond a territory is it? Well that is the objective..

So coming back to the Kangana Ranaut in me. Yes I am flamboyant, Yes I make rather date mistakes and accept them, I am very forthcoming about my sexuality, I don’t care what others think and yea I also love an individual irrespective of his status- single or married.

The Kangana in me always calls for a woman to accept herself as she is and not be ashamed of it. I live my life as a celebration cause everyone’s being calls for a celebration. Those who think it’s not..well err never mind :)

Everything is open and even if its not, I’m still doing it….My work, my relationships, my vices, my fears. But amidst all this is my indomitable will to win.. And I think I have fairly won.. Won enough not to be answerable to anyone, won enough to make my parents proud, won enough not to make my life worthless for anyone… What else do I need?

So dear society, the Kangana in me says-if according to you, I’m a taboo-so be it..

But don’t forget I’m a Female… Fe-(Iron) Male (Man).. Haven’t we all watched Iron Man to beware of it ?

Cheers
