Aww! Dimpy Ganguly's baby girl turns one and the celebrations are adorableAww! Dimpy Ganguly's baby girl turns one and the celebrations are adorable

New mum Dimpy Ganguly is over the moon that her daughter is now one and threw her little munchkin a grand party in Dubai

Television personality and ex Bigg Boss contestant Dimpy Ganguly was once a feisty small screen actor. But today, she seems to have mellowed down. A happy and content homemaker, her world revolves around a doting husband and her baby girl.

Ganguly who married the Dubai-based businessman Rohit Roy in November 2015, was blessed with a girl last June. She even shared her happiness at becoming a mother on her Instagram account with cutesy photographs.

But now the couple have taken a step further in parenthood as their daughter turns one.

The happy parents who are settled in Dubai couldn't contain their excitement at this development and shared candid pictures from baby Reanna's first birthday party. Needless to say, it was one filled with happy faces and an excited toddler.

While the party may not have seen many of her toddler friends, the couple's family came to support the little one.

In fact, at the beginning she was also dressed up in a traditional headgear and Dimply shared the picture with the caption: "Laaje ranga kone bou! Hehe" (translation: The young bride is draped in coyness).

The much-in-love is quite excited by this new addition to their family. In fact, both introduced their baby girl in their own unique way. While Dimpy posted a long message on Instagram with Reanna's picture, the doting dad also wrote a heartfelt message.

2016 has been a year that created a whole new surreal dimension for the word LOVE! Every bit of you is a reflection of every ounce of the goodness I am capable of bringing in this world! Thank you for choosing to come to us! Thank the Gods for placing Your trust in us! Thank you @dimpy_g for imprinting the best of US in her everyday! The couple is clearly enjoying their new roles and have already settled into this new phase in their lives. But it's always as easy for new parents as it may look in the pictures.

Such a change can be quite daunting for new parents. So what can one do to cope and work with a new addition into the family?

3 ways couples can adopt parenthood easily

  • Acknowledge your feelings: Welcoming a new baby can bring immense joy, but it is often coupled with fear, apprehensions and at times even distress. Therefore, one must first acknowledge this feeling to move ahead. It will help you come up with solutions to overcome the problems and work towards taking care of yourself and also your little one.
  • Create a strong support system: Modern new parents often try to work everything by themselves, but that’s exactly what can wear them out. It’s important that you seek help from your family members and friends when the need be.
  • Take care of yourself: For you to completely take care of the baby, you must first be healthy and prepared yourself. Yes, it’s true that you cannot just leave your baby to somebody so you can sleep, but that’s exactly where help comes into picture. Get some rest and rejuvenate yourself before you dive into diaper duties.
